I didn't dislike 8, but I 9 was so much better.

Opposite for me. I loved 8 but despised 9.

9 just didnt arouse me at all, I loved 8, although the story did seem to get a little over the top dispite being a FF

7 was "flocking" awesome. It just is.

8 was "flocking" awesome. There no cooler weapon than the Gunblade.

9 was "flocking" awesome. Back to the roots stuff and nice characters.

for old school id rather play ff6 or just play chrono trigger, i play those more than any other rpg..those graphics are timeless....damn now i feel like playing...Tales of Destiny! that was namco though, which is totally off topic...but a wonderful game

To continue the off-topicness a bit, Takes of Destiny kicks ass. ToE is awesome too.

 

To stick with the topic, I sure hope Square-Enix doesn't screw up Dirge of Cerberus.

yea i hated the ending for part 10, it took me awhile to get 100% (it took me 6 trys!) i was stuck at 98% for the longest time...but the ending was worth it.. they should do direct sequels more often?

Yes. I like FFX-2. It has vibrant colors and girls... plus handguns. Nice.

Honestly, I don't think Final Fantasy has to have a bible. But I do belive it shouldn't suck. And that's what 8 through 11 did.

final fantasy 7 is sooo overrated, and the graphics hurt my eyes, i can go back and play chrono trigger, but sadly not ff7....I wish they would remake ff7....
