I just wanted to b born there cuz of mangas/animes/snk/hentai/fighting games/so on... but not to beborn in a japanese family, to be born in my current family emigrated to Japan that's what I would've liked!!! Romania may suck as a country but that because of the corruption that drowns the country and the cenzorship (read my other topic) of the so-called romanian democratic system and the crapy government!!! I still love it but I hate wat it has become!!!My aim in life is to become ambassador in Japan for Romania!If you're still schooling, you don't want to be in Japan. They have a super high-stress educational system because exam results play a big part in determining a person's social status so most people spend time teen years buried in books. Japanese politics isn't that clean either. Corruption is also rampant, and the LDP (Koizumi's party) pretty much dominate the polls every election. And finally, Japanese society is largely homogenous, they don't take too well too foreigners (gaijins) on their soil. Sorry to burst your bubble, son.

And no, even Japanese Americans aren't looked on too favourably either (they're considered traitors by some of those right-wing nutcases).

But I've worked in Japan for a short while some time ago. And you pretty much are on the mark regarding their baby making activities.

But in general, you don't get outright discriminated against by the general public, but once they find out you're not one of them (I'm of Oriental descent, so appearance wise, I blend in quite nicely), they'll give a different vibe. It's worse for gaijin who outright stand out from the crowd.
