Kawaks Loader

hi.. i have 2 different kawaks loader and specifically its Kawaks 1.46 + loader but the problem is when i click on load game the other games like

 

*mslug 5

*kof 2002.. etc

 

doesn't show ! ! ! ! !

 

 

plzzzzz help

The file names and the CRCs have to be EXACT or they won't show up. Also try Show All and they might show up.

hm.. how can i check that ? ? ?

 

i actually ask ppl to send it to me.. and it works in there computer and everything shows in there computer but when i open it.. nothing shows in my computer ? ?

 

i also have other Kawaks version in the computer so is that a reason ? ? ?

There is a file called ASR.DAT in your Kawaks folder. Open it and find the game you wish to play. Then open the.zip file of the game. Make sure the file names and their corresponding CRCs match.

Now I would open up my zip file and find svc_p1.rom and then look at the CRC column to make sure it says D005C51E. If it doesn't match then you can change the names and CRC values in the ASR.DAT to match your set.

 

If you can't see CRCs in Winzip go to Options -> Configurations and make sure CRC is checked.

 

If you can't see the extensions of the files (the.XXX part) then go to Control Panel-> Folder Options->View (its a tab)-> Make sure "Hide Extensions for Known File Types" is unchecked.

they still don't show on the list of games ! ! ! !

 

i have more than one loader and they all don't show the hacked games ! !

 

im talking about the games that usually have a "*" beside them in the load game screen.

 

the problem is they show on other computer but not on mine !

This is odd indeed. If you get on DC++ or AIM, I can send you my Kawaks 1.46 loader and I can walk you through with that. I've helped other people with it too.

thanks that really kind of you.. it seems is something thats making them not show.. cus i had a loader before and it was working fine but i just noticed recently that the games are not showing.. so i asked other ppl to send me there loaders but still no use ! ! !

Also, just try clicking show all, and click the game name, regardless if it says the game is not present. Sometimes you can get lucky.

I told him that already and apparantly it doesn't work.

His ASR.DAT has entries for those games, and the CRCs match....but they still don't work?

no the problem is you know when you click on kawak loader and then you go load game, the games that has been added show in the game list... they usually have a "*" beside them just like in kawak1.48 dev for example

those games don't show on the game list.

its because loaders DO NOT WORK on kawaks 1.48 dev. they only work on Kawaks 1.46

 

plus the sets needed for Kawaks dev are very hard to find, and i doubt you have them.

just to defeat the obvious, make sure you have "neogeo.zip" inside your ROMS folder. and last time i played on Kawaks with a loader, i dont remember seeing "*" before the gamenames. even if theyre new games.
