Good morning Robert,

I don't know if anyone has already asked you this question: for a number of versions now (perhaps 5/6), I can no longer copy a name or description into the box at the top right to search for a specific game—I mean using the classic Ctrl+V command. However, right-clicking with the mouse and then selecting "Paste..." works fine. Is this a problem with my PC or is MAMEUI not handling keyboard commands correctly?

Nothing's changed in that area. I'll check when I get back home in a few days.

Does it do the same thing in ARCADE64 or HBMAMEUI ?

No, it only happens to me with MAMEUI.

I found a machine here that I could test with. I compiled MAMEUI up to yesterday's git. Then I copy/pasted some text with Ctrl-V, and it worked.

 

So, I guess your machine has a problem, although I have no idea what it might be.

I won't investigate this issue any further, as I will soon be replacing my old, tired PC.
