CoinOPS4 Sunset with ROMs on NAS drive

I cannot get CoinOPs 4 Sunset to read ROMs from my NAS drive. I set up the network + folder options and when I scan for ROMs CoinOPs only finds the 1 ROM I have on the XBOX itself.

 

 

My laptop's network settings

IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.64(Preferred)

XBox

On the NAS I have a user "xbox" with the password "xbox" and have confirmed that I can connect and read/write the roms folder using these network credentials.

The lines in bold were my 2nd attempt, done in desperation

 

I am able to browse the nas drive files from XBMC so I know there is a connection + samba is supported by the NAS (Buffalo LS-CHL)

 

Can anyone think of anything I could try? My internal hard drive is very small and I really want to relive part of my youth

ive noticed all your ipv4 settings are different should they not all be the same so they all match up

of course i just FTP to my xbox so not sure about all this maybe BP will answer your post you made over there

I suppose 192.168.1.254 is your internet modem / router?

 

The subnet mask looks correct for that IP range, and each device has an IP in the range, so that is good too.

 

Many apps will not like trying to submit a userid/password that is different from the account it is running under (it's a microsoft thing). Try making a NAS account that has the same credentials as those which you've logged into the xbox with.
