Wrong forum, moving.

If I were you, I'd check my graphics drivers first. Intel's graphics chips aren't really meant for gaming.

you buy a new graphics card.

Best bet, seeing as that video chipset is most definitely onboard, would be to go to Intel's website and get the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard.

Do you know your motherboard model name and/or number? I couldn't possibly help you with retrieving the right driverset without knowing this.

Also know that updating your drivers isn't always going to fix it, BUT also know it's not always the hardware in the case it doesn't.

I had to reinstall Windows XP to fix my WiFi card........it kept cutting out. Don't ask me why, I have NO idea, but I haven't had a problem in over 2 weeks with my WiFi with a fresh install of Windows.

Let's hit drivers first for your motherboard chipset, then if they come separately the video chipset drivers. If that fails, I'd put money on a clean install of Windows fixing it.

Could be more than just ones video card...or drivers..could be faulty memory..find a copy of knoppix or any other bootable live cd that has memtest32..also try disabling agp fast writes in your boot-up bios if thats an option..also looking up information regarding your motherboard..try installing intels mobo drivers off their website...while your at it google for your problem and include your mainboard/graphics chip..and lastly check for bios updates for your mainboard..and be very careful with this..however read the changelogs on the bios updates that are available and see if your issue is mentioned...Good Luck

You have an Intel 845G based board, download the Intel INF Drivers and the AGP drivers from this page.

http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=do...amp;prod_no=489

Now they may not be the most recent (I'll get to that later) but they may be newer than what you have. The installer should check this anyway.

Edit: According to your first post, they are OLDER. Figures......motherboard manufacturers are f**king lazy, ALL of them. Hang on.
