BlackKnight Posted June 7, 2008 Author Posted June 7, 2008 Me, I want an American Cadillac from the 70s and 80s to be honest. They just look badass...Don't they guzzle petrol like there's no tomorrow?
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Me, I want an American Cadillac from the 70s and 80s to be honest. They just look badass...Don't they guzzle petrol like there's no tomorrow? I think they do, but I still want one. Besides, gas prices here aren't that bad I suppose. If I can save up a couple of thou, maybe I'll convert it to diesel too.
BlackKnight Posted June 7, 2008 Author Posted June 7, 2008 Gas prices here are even more sickening than in the States. If for no other reason I'll be buying a small car for the petrol economics of it.
Inky Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 80's caddys are the worst IMO. mid 60's caddilacs are the stuff. I had a 75 caddy for a few years. I miss that car the most.
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 I suppose further down the road, I'll consider getting a more economic car, but it'll still have to be smokin' awesome. Milady needs her transportation to be freakin' hot. 80's caddys are the worst IMO. mid 60's caddilacs are the stuff.I had a 75 caddy for a few years. I miss that car the most. Dear God, that is gorgeous. My kingdom for a car like that one. Superb...
ken_cinder Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 I own a 1994 Dodge Spirit, and it's VERY good on gas. Took it to work roughly 40km each way, the gas gauge didn't budge. It stays here for the wife though, I go to work with my dad to save money.I think I've put about $80 in gas in the thing since I got it in the winter, and at least 400km.

Superb...for any disagreements at least we have the same taste in cars. for pure american iron sex on wheels nothing compares to a mid 60's lincoln continental

Seriously, I'm a completely ignorant when it comes to cars and what makes them tick. But seeing that, in all it's glory. Congrats Americans, you did something right, finally.
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Bah! This is a REAL car. Not bad, but the car's nose just doesn't scream "attitude" like the previous one inky posted.
Inky Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Bah! This is a REAL car. if you can't fit 6 fat mobsters and 4 bodies in the trunk then it just isn't a real car.
Chaotica Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 I would love a mean, big black car, full of grunt, but with the petrol prices so high here, a slick and sporty small car is the current trend.
