I'm from Australia so if I were to go and get MGS4 it would cost me, give or take, $700AUD since we don't have a bundle on release date... maybe one will appear later but who knows.

last info i heard there are 90 minute cut scenes. wtf?! i had heard the game was roughly 1/2 cut scenes. but one cut being 90 minutes?!?! thats alitttle over the line dontchathink?

That was confirmed as an exaggeration. There is not a single 90-min cutscene in the game. Not even the ending is that long.

that is good to know..... but I also heard Sony strong armed reviewers into not mentioning load times or cut scenes...

I don't know.... this seems like one of those must play titles but some of the stuff I hear makes me think twice. and is any one game worth 500USD? I don't think so.. I'm sure it will release on 360 in a year or so. I'll prolly just wait.

You sounded rational until you said it might be coming to the 360.

Don't forget MGS2, a big PS2 exclusive, came to the Xbox.

 

This sort of a game with such a big budget can't really turn a profit not coming to the Xbox at some point, unless PS3 sales really spike this year.

like BK stated, MGS2 was ported about a year later. almost nothing stays exclusive these days. except first party titles.
