Jitway Posted April 15, 2008 Author Posted April 15, 2008 well i really think these sucks for the girls prostituting themselves, even though its their culture or freedom of choice their to young to know what they want. I so agree mtrx at this age girls as well as boys are just children and have no idea what life is about. It is so sad that this culture is like this. Btw welcome to the site and good to have ya around. Feel free to post freely and have a look around. Your opinion here does matter.
OverlordMondo Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 But to be forced into something that is that personal. I think one should have a choice. And it's their way of life, which mind you... SUCKS ASS! So what if it is a cultural difference, I think one should have a choice. Because there is always, ALWAYS another way. They are given a choice. They can't get married if they go into prostitution, which implies that they don't have to go into prostitution and could get married otherwise. It's common for them to follow this path, but not forced, if they really didn't want to, they don't have to, but the majority want to.

It's not about culture, it is well know what sort of troubles this causes to a child. Yes she's 13, and she's a child. She couldn't know what her decisions will do. Her remark about not having to housework reveals her "grand" decision capacity.

Dude where the hell do you live... a hole in the ground or something. Sexual abuse to a child, and that's going to happen to this kid, is terrible. Just look up anything that has to do with behavior problems, traumas and sexual abuse pops its ugly head. No one should be having sex with kids. If you agree with it then youre sick and should seek mental help. It is not normal.
Elazul Yagami Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I can't remember it , but i recall reading a book about psychology and sex, and it was talking about this tribe (which i can't remember what they were called) where everyone was encouraged to sexually experiement. Kids played "doctor" with each other all the time, parents "slept" in the same room with their children...etc maybe it's not the sexual act in and of itself, but rather the society around it and violence of the act?
OverlordMondo Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I would definitely agree with that, it goes perfectly with what I was trying to say earlier about culture.
Elazul Yagami Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 yeah, i mean up until the early 1900's the world was completely fine with girls and boys as young as 12 to marry.it wasn't wrong, a stigmata, or anything... it was how things were. now anyone that thinks of someone that young is a sicko (and i AGREE they ARE sickos. a 14 year old marrying a 12 year old is one thing, but this is another)
L.S.D Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Umm, my mother married when she is 16. My father is 21 that time. Does that made him a sicko? ......be careful with your answer.
Elazul Yagami Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 there's a general age limit that's fine, i'm personally against someone being labelled a sex offender for sleeping with someone a few years younger (like that 18 year old kid that got his life screwed up cause he got oral sex from a 16 year old.... then again i think it was a racial thing) but then again, this is my point, back then it was fine (and i'm sure your parents are probably in their 40's and 50's) which again, is fine, but as generation X and Y, it's WRONG and is sick because it's no longer who we are as people. i still think a 21 year old taking fancy of a 16 year old is fine if it's mutual, but a 31 year old taking fancy of a 16 year old? how about a 50 year old? that's my point. btw, my god parents got married at exactly the same ages as your mom and dad, and i respect them loads.
L.S.D Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Lol, i was joking there about be careful to label sicko. As for saying >30 yrs old falls for those below 18? You get that a lot in Asia, especially in Japan Also, any wonder why all the paedophiles are only Western? No Japanese or Chinese? And also do you know Japanese always goes to Thailand by busload to find "fresh meat"? What is unacceptable in the West is not necessary unacceptable in the East
OverlordMondo Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Also, any wonder why all the paedophiles are only Western? No Japanese or Chinese? Because adult eastern women look basically like our ten year olds.
