Shibathedog Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Seriously its a disgrace, for like a longass time i have needed a video card System Specs:Intel Core 2 Duo OCed 3GHzNEC 16X DVD-RW Drive2GB DDR2 800 RAM350GB SATA Seagate HDDGeForce 3 GEFORCE 3 Talk about a bottleneck I want to get the ASUS X1950XT (My mobo has AGP and PCI) But guess what? Im a lousy 30 dollars short!!! Can someone be super nice and paypal me 30 dollars? That would be awesome If not i am forced to sell my iPod Video 30GB (5GV2) With car kit and protective case for 200 dollars. And of course it comes with the USB2.0 cable, hell ill even fill it with music if you want.
Lucandrake Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Why not wait till your next paycheck dude? I'm sure a week or two won't kill you. On the other hand loosing your ipod might cause you more stress...
ken_cinder Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 I could use an older half decent video card for one of my PCs, can you tell me EXACTLY what this GF3 is? I may wish to buy it from you if the price is right.
Lucandrake Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 http://www.nvidia.com/page/geforce3.html Umm I think that's it.
Shibathedog Posted December 3, 2006 Author Posted December 3, 2006 Well i dont have the original box or anything, and my digital camera is pretty much screwed, but if you really want ill try and get it to work and take some pics heres what i know about it Its a GeForce 3AGP 4X64MB onboard memoryIt has green heatsyncs and a fan on the chipset heatsync (I say this because its not a traditional looking video card cooler, and it doesnt look like any GeForce 3s ive seen, i tried to look it up on the internet and find this exact one)and its Direct X 8.1 compliant it seems to be an upgraded GeForce 3, because its way faster than i think a GeForce 3 should be, especially since GeForce 3s are supposed to be Direct X 7.0 It even has a DVI out port (in addition to a regular VGA out) EDIT: It looks KIND OF like this (this is the Mac GeForce 3)
Shibathedog Posted December 3, 2006 Author Posted December 3, 2006 heres what i got in Everest for it I know it says Direct X 8.0, but Half-Life 2 reports it as 8.1, its up to you which one you trust more
ken_cinder Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 8.1 is just a revision of 8. No board out there states otherwise unless theres a firmware upgrade released and someone happens to waste their time changing that. I'm going to send you a PM with an offer, after that it's up to you. And I do, do Paypal.
Shibathedog Posted December 3, 2006 Author Posted December 3, 2006 alright sounds good does anybody want to buy the iPod though? Because really i dont need it anymore, if not i guess ill just ebay it
Shibathedog Posted December 3, 2006 Author Posted December 3, 2006 already ebayed http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=270063417133 someone buy please lol (this is my first time selling on ebay so stfu at my non-flashy auction page, it seemed like they wanted you to pay money to add anything anyway)
floopy Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Why don't you just take it to a pawn shop? You'll get less money, but it's much quicker. If you have any dvd's, you can pawn a couple of them too.Instant money.
Shibathedog Posted December 3, 2006 Author Posted December 3, 2006 pawn shops rip you off hard, i would get like 40 dollars for the iPod I was thinking about selling my PS2 to a pawn shop (and this was when they still cost like 300 dollars new) and they said they would give me 60 dollars for it, and they where on sale for like 200. Screw that.
ken_cinder Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Yep, the pawn shops here will give you $20 CAD for a Gamecube, and they sell em for $89 (I laugh at this, because a brand new one is like $99). But if you're hard up for some crack money, and you don't like blowing for it, you'll sell your crap. lol Oh and btw, the GF3 is mine. I just have to pay the man.
Shibathedog Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 yeah, is anyone interested in buying some RDRAM or any random computer parts? I have some small (like 10GB) HDDs and random video cards (crap ones) and some CD-ROM drives, some floppy drives, some random slot processors, and i think thats it as far as computer parts (im trying to get rid of everything and thats pretty much whats left lol) anyway i really need money right now so if anyone wants anything lemme know. Ill also be selling my Linksys WRT54GS V2 soon because it doesnt get along with my neighbors wireless and having VoIP phone service it doesnt handle doing that and BitTorrent at the same time very well, but it would work fine if you dont use VoIP. Ive only had it for about a year. I mean i probably have alot of stuff around here i dont want that someone might need. Alot of it seems like crap to me but i guess one mans trash is another mans treasure.
ken_cinder Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Good thing I haven't paid you yet. What type/size of RDRAM? My computer runs PC800 Samsung RDRAM. I've got 4x128 in here ATM.
Shibathedog Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 well i sold most of my RDRAM off but what i have left is 2 PC600 64MB i also have a bunch of PC133 lying around in varying sizes if you have any really old computers or something you want to turn into a linux box.
