LOS ANGELES—The Recording Industry Association of America announced Tuesday that it will be taking legal action against anyone discovered telling friends, acquaintances, or associates about new songs, artists, or albums.

When are these pieces of crap going to get slapped with a multi billion dollar civil suit that forces them to STFU and go away? (I may be Canadian and this doesn't really affect me, but I still hate corporate trash)

ok, now this is waay too much regulation now

I hope somone takes the spreading of word to an extreme to boycott at least

besides, why?! The musik business is doing good; cd sales are down, but legal downloads are raking in the dough due to the popularity of portable music players

WTF? that can't be serious. so I could get sued for telling my friend about the new Horrorpops album? how do they expect non-top 40/radio friendly bands to sell albums.

What's that tell you about the state or our news sources?

that the only ones that are trustworthy are local news programs :D

Wtf? Those aren't trustworthy. The only trustworthy news programs are owned by radio pirates. And those have been on the down side recently.
