Yeah, the ones at school (running on fortres) have blocked ign.com, netscape.com (for inappropriate content), any google search result relating to fortres, and various other bullshit things

Heh, even Maddox has given Websense a stern talking to. :)

LOL, I remember reading that. He banned Websense employees from his site.

Edit: Thanks Agozer, I hadn't checked Maddox's site in a couple of months, now I spend 30 mins reading over the ordeal with orbitz, LOL

Yeah, that whole Orbitz company seems to be the mother of all flock-ups.

I was told once to email the links to my self then open them from the email program and that would bypass websence but I had no joy on that. I think you are just flocked and will have to find other ways to goof off at school :)

My school's access is blocked off from a server downtown, so everyone in computer class just connects to a proxy to make the websites work (the other day we accidently choose a jap proxy and google looks funny in japanise)

you can access the japanese google any time you want, actually, you can visit any country's google, it's just that it reads your ip and country code and sends you to your nearest one, but you can select either by using other country codes (japan = co.jp; uk = co.uk; germany =.de; china=.cn; etcetc

here's the japanese google btw
