Bluestinger X Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 anything splinter cell is good with me... They need to do another beyond good and evil game i was pretty surpised at how decent the game was.. but no ones like it at all.
Agozer Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 makes me wonder how many Tom Clancy books aren't about the same shiitA wild guess: None of them? Nah, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is worth the wait also. I haven't even played the first or the second yet.
Gryph Posted March 18, 2005 Author Posted March 18, 2005 I think they're rolling out with sequels too fast. It's eventually going to devalue the IP. I mean give it a year's rest!! Come up with something new for flocks sake.

So much variety, some pretty fresh ideas, and solid gameplay all around. The music during the races was some of the most unbearable music in the history of video games, but the rest was good enough to make up for that. It hit $20 in like a week too, probably because they were trying to push XIII at the time.
OverlordMondo Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Heroes of Might and Magic 5 (I'm currently looking for a copy of the fourth one). And "product with Might and Magic brand" both sound interesting. Especially the second one, so many possibilities.

I met a kid the other day who was asking people what their favorite system was. When I said Genesis, he freaked, saying that I was a retard because I didn't like the PS2

Nobody bought XIII because it looked "like a cartoon," and nobody knew about BG&E. :\ All the magazines gave it really good reviews, and it even took some awards I think. It was on a few of the "best of 2004" lists. Savvy gamers got lucky because Ubi could afford to drop the price - they'd spent no money advertising it. Things like Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank show that cartoony things can still sell well, but they need the kind of advertising money that can handle the reigns of the market these days.

You should have punched him in the face right there. I like cartoony games, I don't see what 's so kiddy about them. Viewtiful Joe owns.
