Castlevania Curse of Darkness

So basically, I was reading The Preview

at IGN and it tickled my happiness bone...wait that didn't sound right. Anyway there's a new castlevania in development and I can't wait to get my hands on it. It's using an upgraded build of Lament of Innocence and it will feature a brand new character, XP driven character development and more SoTN fundamentals.

Enjoy some images:

For handheld lovers...they are making a sequel to Aria of Sorrow.

How they going to make a castelvania in 2d when the ds has N64 graphics? The graphics of the 3d version look awsome and interesting, sort of like a devil may cry game. But is this multi-Platrform or only PS2?

Because Konami remembered how much the 2D Castlevanias rule.

That looks more like Castlevania 64 more than Lament of Innocence.

Aria of Sorrow 2 shall be mine.

PFFT!

The same reason why 2D games were on PSone, PS2, GC, Xbox, Saturn, etc.

So far, Curse of Darkness will only be on PS2. There will be that "Aria of Sorrow 2" for nintendo ds and another on for the psp. I haven't seen the psp version, wonder if it will be 2d or 3d.
