Gryph Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Know any sites that sell cheap textbooks? I just checked out Amazon and I would like to see more. Lucandrake Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Hey gryph, goodwill and garage sails are also a good idea, tho you might end up getting a old issue of the book there

No one gives those books to Goodwill.
Lucandrake Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Aren't there like programs were you can like pay the books little by little? Im sorry dude, just trying to help out here...idk what happened yesterday but my maturity meter went up a bit and I want to help out around the site instead of just dangeling around laughing at jokes...

Right now, I've got most of those books in my shopping cart at Amazon.
Gryph Posted January 18, 2005 Author Posted January 18, 2005 There is no deadline, per se. It's just that if I don't get them in time I'll fall behind in class. But I just rented my Psychology and French textbooks.
Agozer Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 (edited) Text book cost a fortune over here, exspecially those that have something to do with my major. (IT technology and it's solutions, also programming) Edited January 18, 2005 by Agozer
Mag Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Hey G, don't they have a loan book program at yer college ? because I do, and I almost got every book I required to have. I just need to purchase one book.
Gryph Posted January 18, 2005 Author Posted January 18, 2005 No loaning. They have a rental place which is almost like loaning. I got my Psych and French book there.

Gryph Posted January 18, 2005 Author Posted January 18, 2005 They don't have high level biology text books for rent. Plus, I want to buy them to keep them for the future. I have a huge shelf in my room full of science textbooks. They'll come in handy for reference later on and I just like to have a collection.
Gryph Posted January 20, 2005 Author Posted January 20, 2005 Well, I finally got all my text books and I saved $100! I got them all from Amazon (2 of them from vendors who sell through Amazon) and they'll be here some time next week. Luckily I have my notes so I won't fall behind in class.
