Agozer Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Ok I think I get it now. It says I have to change it to a different drive. Makes since, since I don't actually insert the disk into the drive it is reading it from. I mount it with Daemon tools into drive G. How do switch it so it can read it from the mounted drive g?Well, you open up Sword.inf in Notepad (like it says in the link) and change the paths starting with X:\whatever to G:\whatever.
emsley Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Agozer you should knock up a guide for this stuff if you know what you are doing, then get it pinned in the vintage section i myself and a few others i know would find it very usefull.

Something about how to get older games running under XP or what? Edited January 13, 2005 by Agozer
Fatal Rose Posted January 13, 2005 Author Posted January 13, 2005 Wont let me edit it to match the one mounted with daemon tools in drive G.
Agozer Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 Very well then, but don't expect anything soon. I'll start working on it though.
Gryph Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 What's with you background image? You change it like every day. Kind of looks like that guy on the ground just got finished blowing the guy standing.

Fatal Rose Posted January 13, 2005 Author Posted January 13, 2005 Through scummvm it works great, only one problem, sound is missing! No voices and music, but there is sound effects. Oh and it skips the intro to. Should i reinstall in through scummvm? Sorry I don't really know much about pc games and emulation.

You have to install the game normally, then point ScummVM to read the files from the right folder. Are you using the latest ScummVM?
Fatal Rose Posted January 14, 2005 Author Posted January 14, 2005 I should be. Got it form the home page.
