I request some info about the seires and why it was so great

Just google for some info; I can't really say anything, since Sierra's adventure games (most notably Police Quests, Space Quests, King's Quests, Legend of Kyrandia's, Quest for Glory's, Leisure suit Larry's etc. etc. somebody stop me) are all top notch oldschool fun.

Ok, maybe it's just the sheer entertainment value and awesome, rock-solid gameplay.

Sweet! I hope this actually works out and doesn't get chopped by whoever owns the rights to it. The Space Quest series is probably my favorite after Quest for Glory since it was so funny!

not turned on...over it.

These kinds of games have a pretty specific fanbase so most people aren't turned on by it.

I hope this game gets made. I long for the day when adventure is truly resurrected, I want new quest for glory, kings quest, & monkey island games!

Actually, adventure games are going to make a comeback. Two newly made companies are doing that and one of them is working with Lucas Arts and trying to secure the Sam and Max game. I'll post something about that when the evidence is more concrete.

Mr. G: I thought you already posted the resurrection of Sam & Max (or then it was me who read it somewhere) A team of developers that broke off from LucasArts should be working on it now...

On another note, i'm currently playing grim Fandango. Dear lordy this game is great. Glottis is so funky.

Isn't that the game where everyone is a skeleton? I hate that game, even though I've never played it

How can you hate something that you've never tried?

No, apparantly TellTales is working on something that's not Sam and Max.

Read about the new news here in an interview since some guy from Bad Brain: http://www.telltalegames.com/forum/viewthread?thread=64

Actually, I'll just quote it since that is a huge forum post.

Rumor has it that Bad Brain is attempting to acquire the rights to Sam & Max: Freelance Police. What can you say about that?

No comment (I signed an NDA). All I can say is: yes, we are talking to LucasArts about a game that might involve animals, but that's all folks! I guess we will see whats happening in March 2005 at the latest. Also check our website for more information about our games.
