  1. X-Arcade? F**K X-Arcade! Way overpriced for what they are, if you knew what the parts were worth and how much is actually involved, you could build one yourself for like 1/32 the cost.

James, for $500 that cabinet is a STEAL (If it includes the monitor like the link Robert provided shows). A 29" dual mode monitor on it's own would cost you that much, if not more. You'll be able to run standard res to medium res games on it, unlike most monitors that only support standard 15.7khz to usually extended 16.5khz for that price range.

    I'd buy it.

Yes the monitor is included :banghead: The only problem is the cab came from Japan which uses 110v power supply, Thats not a big deal since I already have a 240 here that should work.

  2. To be honest, I'd rather purchase an arcade cabinet that's upright. I like the feel of standing up and playing, rather than sitting my ass down on the chair.

Otherwise, I see no point in getting this particular arcade cab. It would just feel the same as playing on the computer.

Save yourself the money and buy an X-Arcade and put it on your computer desk. You can play all your mame, neogeo games, etc. that way.

I already have an older upright LAI cab (Big black and red cab) which only has a 25" screen.

This one has a 29" screen and I like the idea that I can sit and play it.

Yes I have Mame and can play on a PC, But I find it better on a true arcade machine. This cab will never be converted to a Mame cab.

Its worth alot more money as a true arcade machine.

  3. that's going to end up 500 + whatever it'll cost you for the board and games.

i recall a feature in egm or another magazine a few years ago that showed you how to buy arcade cabinets for cheap.

The only thing missing is the PCB, I do not need that since I already have some PCB's here

EWWW Its all about them HUGE uprights! Why dont you build your own?

All you need is to "borrow" your neighbors circular saw and nail gun!

This cab is small compareed to my other one here. I am not wanting to convert it to mame they are worth alot more intact.

  4. I am thinking of buying this Arcade Cabinet. Will cost me around $500, What do you guys think?

The Cyber Lead Cabinet is a compact 29 inch sit down cabinet manufactured by Namco. The cabinet is equipped with a deluxe dual resolution monitor (15k/24k). The picture from the cabinet can also be displayed on any TV (capable of showing an NTSC Source). Which allows everyone to watch the action.

Another special feature of this Cabinet, is it can be networked to another cabinet. Allowing 2 players to play the same game on 2 different cabinets. Players can play games like side scrolling beat them up games cooperatively. Or fighting games in versus against each other. Each player getting their own controls and monitor. This is done via the use of a special link cable (available to customers at an additional charge.)

The cabinet has a specially designed LED panel embedded into the header of the cabinet. Which displays, information from the game, pricing and advertising.

The cabinet has ease of access to all parts with a hinged control panel that flips out. Giving operators easy access to button/microswitch replacement, as well as degausing, volume control and monitor adjustments. The front and back panels are fully detachable. Allowing direct access to the spacious interior of the cabinet.

The cabinet can be quickly moved and installed into another location with it's rear wheels, as well as being stable in it's stationary position thanks to it's front castors.

Please note this cabinet is a horizontal (left to right) orientated screen only. It cannot be rotated to be a vertical screen.

  5. Alot used to biatch about XP when it first came out. Now there doing it with Vista.

And it will happen when the next OS released.

I used XP from release day and found nothing wrong with it.

I am now useing Vista and so far it works fine.

Being a power user is about knowing how to run your OS smoothly. If your worried about the so called bloatware then I suggest you go back to useing an old PC with windows 3.11.

  6. Oral? No thanks. I've had my share of bad experiences with that. :naughty:

My advice: "Stick it, but don't lick it."

Just because you have bad experience with it doesn't mean it is not good!

    Just remember:

    1. both partners must wash themselves clean. VERY IMPORTANT. Unseemly smell will turn you off.

    2. Practice made perfect! This sentence is oh so true.

Not always the case, It can be very clean and still have a smell, If you do not like the smell then it can be off putting.

Anyway I have no problem with sex before marriage.

  7. why would I spend money for Nvidia when I have this one for free and works almost as well (my graphics are rated as a 3.9 according to the Microsoft Index)

Why?, If its onboard then without a doubt its crap and even its not its still crap.

ATI or Nvidia are much better GFX cards.

When it come to neogeo mame is the best, FBA is good with neogeo as well

  8. Mame has crc checks to make sure it uses the correct roms, The rom may work fine, But it does not mean it is correct for that emulator. I suggest you go fine the correct roms for that emulator.

kof2k3nd is not even a proper dump, It has been hacked and protection removed. This is one of the reasons why there are differmt types of crc values.

Again the bosses hack is just that, It only a hack (not offical) . If its not not showing the bosses then it means you do not have the correct rom set.

  9. Many years ago I was charged with steal by find, I only just found a car key and a plastic card of some sort (Not a credit card) 5 to 10 mins before the police stopped me.

They asked me why I never handed them in and I said because what you have done to me already.

In court the police officer (Who I never spoke to when I was arrested) said I was in a car park looking at cars. The fact was I was walking into hurstville library at the time not where they said i was.

Meanwhile there trying make me out to be a car thief, They never bothered to find the owner of the key and the card. So the case was dismissed on the grounds there was no owner to the property.

To this day I am still very angry about it.

  10. If every moron in the US wasn't allowed to own guns, this WOULD NOT happen!

Say whatever the f**k you want, where do you think these kids and most criminals get their weapons from? They're STOLEN from your average idiots house.

"The Right To Bear Arms" is bullshit, ONLY law enforcement and military should be allowed to own any kind of gun other than hunting rifles. Your laws in the US SUCK ASS.

It's legal for any stupid f**k to own a gun, but downloading an MP3 is illegal? Something SERIOUSLY wrong with that $hit.

I 100% agree with you, There are some really stupid laws in the US.

    Source Changes

    ----------------------

Improved the K001604 ROZ layer emulation. [Ville Linde]

Added the timing parameters for the Exidy 6502 driver from the schematics, and updated a number of other drivers to use the newer timing routines. [Zsolt Vasvari]

Exidy 440 driver update: [Zsolt Vasvari]

    * added video timing from schematics

    * added the 9 timing PROMs to the ROMsets

    * all the games appear to use the same timing PROMs with the exception of Top Secret, which sets the VBLANK 4 pixels earlier. This fixes the game graphics, but cuts of the very bottom row of the year display on the title screen. It's most likely a real issue in the game, as tweaking the behavior adds garbage pixels to all the other games

Updated the itech32 driver to configure video timing dynamically according to how the chip is programmed. [Zsolt Vasvari]

Hooked up the new TGP core to the Model 2 driver, mapped the TGP data ROMs properly, and updated the TGP core to the latest information. [Ville Linde, Ernesto Corvi, ElSemi]

Fixed irobot crash introduced in last timing update. [Zsolt Vasvari]

    ES5503 updates: [R. Belmont]

    - Major fixes to IRQ semantics and end-of-sample handling

    - Sample memory now configurable

    - Added state save support

    - Calculates output rate properly based on the input clock

    - Hooked up properly to mquake

Added analog controls for GTI Club. [Ville Linde]

Fixed crashes in some games using the SCSP. [R. Belmont]

Now enabling all CPUs by default, which helps ensure that even unused CPUs get updated with core changes, etc. [David Haywood]

Optimized the options code and memory pool code to use hashes for faster searching. [Nathan Woods]

Cleaned up and more heavily documented the tumbleb driver. [brian Troha]

G65816/M37710 CPU core updates: [R. Belmont]

    - Fixed a race condition in the WAI instruction where the CPU could get stuck. (MESS bug #661, may have caused intermittent issues with Namco games in MAME too).

    - Fixed block transfer instructions when the accumulator is in short mode. (Fixes some SNES games not booting, notably Final Fantasy Mystic Quest).

Corrected dip and added dip locations to Pettan Pyuu / Banbam, the markham driver, and Calorie Kun vs Moguranian. [brian Troha]

Updated the Leland driver to the new video timing routines, as well as the remaining drivers. Removed now-obsolete old timing routines from cpuexec. [Zsolt Vasvari]

Added more recently discovered opcodes to the MB86233 core and disassembler. [Ernesto Corvi, ElSemi]

Created WINOPTIONS_* constants for Windows OSD options. [Nathan Woods]

Updated the World Cup 90 DIP switches corrected from manual. Also added diplocations. [Roberto Fresca]

Changed CDP1869 to use proper write handlers for MESS. [Curt Coder]

Added v60_stall mechanism to allow for synchronization between the V60 core and an external CPU. [Ernesto Corvi]

Changed behavior of extra one-pixel border on Direct3D textures so that the edge pixel is smeared into the border rather than leaving the border black. This should eliminate a few oddities at the edges of texture rendering. [Aaron Giles]

Updated video code to double buffer texture objects to reduce contention of render primitive lists. Also changed rendering code to explicitly alternate between primitive lists to prevent throwing away old lists prematurely. [Aaron Giles]

  12. it seems to have a major problem regarding the mame cheat files

some games doesnt support their cheats(or they are supporting some cheats)....for example fatal fury serries, art of fighting 3,flying shark...etc

This is not really a mame plus problem, It also happena on my build and no doubt the offical mame.
