  1. no i meant to USE nitro hax on the DS GAMES on max overload. Allow me to clarify. So, you've got a Max Media Dock/Player. You patch a commercial DS ROM with Max Overload, and put it on your MMD/P. Now, if there is a DLDI file for the MMD/P, you should use it to patch the Nitro Hax .nds file before you put it on your MMD/P. If there's NOT a DLDI file for your device, then you can't use Nitro Hax. Simple as that. NO i meant use nitro hax on the max overload patched ds roms. Oh, uh, no. Not possible.

  3. It should work with anything as long as you patch it with the appropriate DLDI file.
  4. "Love" is for teen movies where the popular guy ends up falling for the outcast girl, and sluts who want to feel like their boyfriends aren't just using them for sex. The word has lost its meaning.

  6. RIP George. What a great comedian. btw: crap Piss flock genitalia Cocksucker Motherflocker Tits Edit: Howzabout we disable the language filter for a day or two in his honor, eh?
  7. Yeah, I ran fixboot and fixmbr. fixboot seemed to work, but when I tried fixmbr, nothing seemed to happen. Also, when GRUB tried to fix the MBR, it gave me an error that was something like "Error 25: Disk read error." Also, this drive worked as the second device in the boot order (after CD-ROM) for a few good years, so I don't see why it shouldn't work now, but I'll give it a try.
  8. tiny bump. After running a bunch of tests, I think something is wrong with the MBR. It seems that running fixmbr in Windows recovery mode did nothing, and GRUB couldn't repair it either. Suggestions?
  9. The Utopia Project sounds pretty cool. It sounds like could completely open up the PSP for all sorts of good stuff. I just hope they find some way to let us run our ISOs, though. I gotsta haves ma ISOs. As for DAX's CFW 4.00, savestates seem like an awesome idea, but there's always the possibility that it could screw up your game somehow, so I'll be interested to see how that works out.
  10. Wolf ftw. I don't even care that he's not in the image. He's just that good.
  11. Well, I just configured it to only boot local devices, loaded the BIOS's default settings, and I've already entered recovery mode and run the "fixboot" command. Now, the only error I get is DISK BOOTFAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER Note: This is the same hard drive that I was having problems with in this thread, although it is back in its original machine, and that problem was never solved.
  12. That goes 1. CD-ROM, 2. Hard drive, 3. Floppy, so I don't think anything is wrong with that.
  13. It definitely detects the hard drive. The bios setup utility recognizes it, and I can log into the Windows installation on it when I enter recovery mode using the Windows CD. Maybe disconnect this network card its pestering about and see what happens? There is no network card to disconnect :/ That's strange... guess I'll give it a try, tho.

  15. Did both of those. Everything seemed to be plugged in fine, as far as I could tell.
  16. So I was trying to set up my old computer, since I'm gonna put it into an arcade cabinet I'm getting for free, but I got an error when I tried to turn it on. It went a little something like this... Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 082) Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation For Realtek RTL8139(X)/8130/810X PCI Fast Ethernat Controller v2.13 (020326) PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM. DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER I tried using the Windows installation disk to enter recovery mode, but nothing I did in there seemed to help.
  17. You could try using a broken pixel fixer homebrew app. What they do is flash RGB colors really fast to try to unstick the pixel. If that doesn't work, all you can do is get a new touch screen.
  18. I do believe kloplop321 took apart an old DS. Anyway, here's a vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dT_hyOCS2Q (It's in spanish, but the images are all that matter)
  19. Ya know, a quick Google search would have been faster and saved us all a bunch of trouble, but what the hell, here ya go: http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?t=11989
  20. What amazes me is that people still fall for that PSP Blender crap. It's called Google, people.
  21. Be prepared for a total rush of complete n00bness... - How do I get this onto my memory card? - If I do somehow manage to get this onto my memory card without burning down my house, is there some way I could load ISOs off of an HDD without buying any other equipment? (I have a fat PS2 and a 160GB Maxtor IDE HDD, btw) Don't skimp on the details, please.
  22. Just thought y'all could use another dose of my brutal hotness.
