  1. Contests definately. The first one should be a new opening image or Flash for when you first come to the website. The moderators will decide who the winningpicture is by poll. Good, eh? But to participate, you would need a minimum amount of posts.
  2. well if you are going to stick with 56 k then Callwave is worth the money. Free upgrades and everything. Just remember your password...
  3. From Marvel Superheroes vs. Street Fighter, there is this character that you can get by cheating. His name is something like Namimaru, something like that. Anyway, for his [marq=left][marq=down][marq=right] +punch move, he reaches into his bag and throws protractors, teddy bears, food. He is this really, REALLY (emphasis on the 'really') nerdy guy, really skinny with a suit on, and he walks with his knees together and his head turned away with his fists up. His special is he reaches into his book bag and throws a bunch of protractors and teddy bears at you. Another pointless character from the same game is Dan. Although he is funny, he just doesnt cut it in my book.
  4. also, wouldnt you hate it if you were in the middle of a download and someone called and disconnected you, and you had to start all over? DSL, its the way to go.
  5. you have to call your phone company and enable Callwave with them. I used it for a long time and it was very convenient. It has caller ID and you can leave 30 second messages. But why dont you just go broadband? It goes for $30 a month now. DSL was the best thing to ever happen to my computer. Now I wait 10 seconds for a 1 mb download instead of 5 minutes. Great for downloading music, videos, and roms especially.
  6. What system was emulated the best? I'm sorry I had to repeat the question. The question is talking about the best emulated console, not the best emulator. But I will answer both. The best emulated system would have to be SNES and GB(A). As for the best emulators, I would say ZSNES, Visual Boy Advance, Final Burn Alpha, and Project 64, even though the emulation isn't perfect and they have discontinued production, that is one hell of an emulator.
  7. I agree with the fighting games, the tony hawk games should have never been on the GBA and which ports (Metroid Fusion is the only one I could think of, but you get used to it)?
  8. obviously GameCop has never used a *real* GBA before. GameCop also obviously has not done any GBA emulation lately . The GBA is short two buttons compared to the SNES, the X and Y buttons. But Nintendo has found ways of getting rid of those button's functions, and it is also quite comfortable. As for the rest, the sound will never be as good as the SNES, although SNES did not have any speech as far as I can remember. GBA also has better graphics potential, housing a 32-bit cpu. The only true 3D I ever saw on the SNES is Starfox and Starfox 2 beta, and that wasn't great. The SNES houses a 16-bit cpu. But what really makes the system is the games. Yeah SNES is classic and all the games are being ported, but they improve the games when they decide to port them. And all that replay value that was found on the SNES is still there in the ports. And one huge advantage that GBA has over the SNES is that it is portable. You can't expect a huge screen on something that is meant to fit in your pocket. All in all, I favor GBA.
  9. how much money are you willing to spend on a new card? The new GeForce FX 5900 Ultra has caught up with ATI's Radeon 9800 Pro. I have seen some graphs and tests comparing the two, and they only differ by a few frames per second, but the FX performs better with intense shadows (Splinter Cell). The only bad thing about the FX is that it is $400. ATI is also going to have a new line of cards coming out in a few months which WILL be better than nVidia. But if you are looking for a good card, go with the ATI 9000 series.
  10. Is it possible to have DDR on your computer and the pads? i have heard something about an adapter for psx controller to pc. anyone know anything about this? hass DDR been emulated?
