A new version of AGES, a Genesis, 32X, Sega CD, & SMS emulator for Windows, has been released. The author notes that this version does not work very well under WindowsXP. Here's the list of changes:
Some Genesis, 32X, Sega CD, and SMS compatiblity fixes
Added Game Gear emulation
M68000, Z80, and SH2 core revisions (lots faster)
Faster interlace mode line renderer
PSG noise channel
32X, Sega CD, SMS, and GG saved states

Added new fast-forward method: "sticky" (complements "press-and-hold")

FPS display
Brighter colors
Close ROM option
Multiple joystick support
Improved some parts of the GUI (not compatible with WinXP!)

HOLY CRAP THIS IS EXCELLENT NEWS the legendary legend of all legends has returned, though maybe this thread should be deleted so the faggot IDSA don't find out what do you folks think, but thanks again for the more then useful info gamecop.

Also seeing as how I was sadly at fault having his mod taken away I really really think it is the right thing to do and have him as a mod again to this excellent and always improveing site, and forum.

I vote for YES, I tell you we need this man back as a mod just for the fact that people would really look up more to him if they did not know him, and as a mod he could take care of the iso sections, I mean if he is willing to which I am sure he is because hes an awesome person that is willing to help you out gamecop he should be modded again if he wants to. I vote for yes, please everyone let up know yes or no thanks.

I was just thinking about how much more intresting, and better this site got since it first started gamecop works his ass off but you know what the mans hard labor is paying off in truck loads. Just in the past 2 weeks since I was gone I am notice how much more intresting the site and forums have become excellent work gamecop, and more power to you and the excellent team of mods you got running this site, though I honestly feel that you should reup Magnis's mod status seeing as how I was all wrong about him, that dude seems to be one of the most knowledgeable people I KNOW in the ISO field sadly a lot of people includeing myself lack the great depth of knowledge he has, and he would be more then just a good asset to your ISO needs.

I had a moron doing the same thing a while back, he thought he would never be found, funny how he is now banned from just about every site he used to go to... bastards, what is the point in attacking someone else's computer, I mean we are all into the emulation scene, it's like eating our own young

Does anyone know if the PCE CD needs to be modded to play the disks, and if not does anyone have any clue where I could fight some iso's for this classic bad boy? Thanks in advance everyone.

ok, i went and checked. they have both at http://www.planetemu.net. its definately a site to add to your favorites. they have everything under the rainbow and then some. have fun.
I think planetemu's ki, and ki2 roms are down it's been more then a few days already
, other stuff I checked worked though so I hope thats a sign that it will be back up soon. -
yeah I know, its a little crazy.
See before the only way to get my softwares was to register on the forum and PM me from there, so thats what happened, but nobody posted, till I made it completely free and no restrictions.
Yeah thats sad you know you'd think that they would show a little support for the forum, I mean you were actually the one who put all that hard work into that program.

"Dixon" has updated the PCSX2 website with some screen-shots taken using the private build of PCSX2. For those of you who don't know, PCSX2 is the most advanced released PS2 emulator to date. No, it cannot run commercial games, but it is running some 3D demos well, to say the least. It is coded by shadow, linuzappz and GoldFinger and it's current version is 0.042.

I was SHOCKED and STUNNED to see that you guys actually trust, and beleaved in me to see threw this BS that was going on here the attacks and what not. Everyone to you I say thank you. Because of speaking with my friend ( YES ONCE AGAIN BUT THIS TIME FOR GOOD ) Magnis he basicly talked me back into returning to the forum.
So real quick again I NEED to ask Magnis to forgive me for mixing him up into this whole crap load of a mess that some on this forum were involved in. This is the SECOND time I was wrong about Magnis, and from here on out I will not judge Magnis from rumors whatever. I now also know Magnis enough to know that he is good people and would not act in such a way. So Magnis once again, thank you for helping me out, and sorry for getting you involved.
As for everyone else I want just to thank you all for those kind words you said. I was just about feed up but after reading what you folks wrote it got me thinking the right way again. So yes I am here to stay and wont leave this awesome forum.
Now just so you guys know I told some but not all I am in the us army, and this tuesday we are supposed to go do some field training for 10 or 11 days or so. I hope we come back early or something. So I ain't gone just training if you want to even call it that. Can't wait to get back, and work on the news help folks out as much as I can etc. Till then friends I shall return.
P.S. Can someone see if we can get tapewurm back as well because I think he mite have been involved in this mix up too, and like me mite of left for the wrong reasons. Just a tought for you folks.

Okay heres the deal I will now be leaveing the site, and forum FOR GOOD, I taught at first I mite say for a bit but no it's for good. The reason behind this is quite simple, well since I have been at this forum I have tried to do notting but good which I beleave I did, GAMECOP HAS BEEN GREAT AND OUTSTANDING, I thank him to this very second and will continue to hes an awesome person very down to earth and loves to help everyone outstanding asset to the emulation scene. Now with that said I can go on to other things me and gamecop and some others were trying to track down the person behind the attacks on this excellent forum, and after a long while it turned out that one of the ips turned out to be my very own. So everyone turned on me and it became a whole big mess, though once I explained that some person was attacking my pc things seemed to calm down. Though till I finnally got everything solved things had taken a horrid turn for the worse. First off I got into big ugly mess with my friend Magnis, and I hope he understands that I did not mean any harm just did not know what was going on at the time, and also I got him banned as a mod which by the way Magnis should be given his modship back because I think if anyone deserves to be trusted with being a mod it should be MAGNIS. I on the other hand don't feel comfortable with this forum or site anylonger and no it is not the fault of gamecop or anyone else on the site. It's just that my good name has been getting damaged as of late. So please understand where I am coming from when I say this stuff. I am not just blowing stuff out of my @$$ here.
So now that I feel that I got my computer, IP, etc. Safer from hackers and what not I think this is the perfect time to go my separte ways in the emulation scene. Also GAMECOP helped me get the programs needed to clean up my pc from hackers or what not if not for him my pc would be attacked as we speak.
Since I got my zonealarm I have had unheard of amount of really dangerous intrusions, it's sad really that someone would want to attack me as if I was an important person or something, though anyways folks who know me, KNOW I've had this problem in other forums, and recently tim has told me that there was someone who has been going in my screen name and it has been more then just a few ips which leads me to beleave they were attacking there too like I had been saying for ever. Which would also explain why I had a virus every other week, and had to reformat at least once a month as well.
Anyways before I go I would like to request a couple of things please let Magnis be a mod here again, and please forgive me MAGNIS FOR BLAMEING YOU DUDE, PLEASE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THIS EXCELLENT SITE AND FORUM OF GAMECOPS, EMSLEY CONTACT ME SO I CAN WORK ON YOUR SITE IF YOUR STILL INTRESTED because you never lost faith in me no matter what, and everone else please get in touch with me threw ICQ if you would like because as far as I am concerned there is not one bad person on this forum NOT ONE, and thats saying a lot. Game Cop you have a beyond excellent forum here GREAT JOB and best of luck to you buddy. I will visit the forum for a bit for the next few days but not logg on, and afterwards I mite stop by maybe monthly or so BUT NEVER WILL I LOG ON AGAIN, and I would like for my Eugen Popovici screen name here to be deleted for EVER if possible game cop. It has it's issues and yes I wanted to leave the forum a few times, but it is my first real forum I actually enjoyed and I always come back to the darned place. Though everyone knows I see your guys points they are very valid.

Don't get me wrong, I believe in life forms from other planets, but that the majority of us wouldn't know for a fact they have been/are on earth, is a crock. It's doubtable anything has the means with which to reach our planet, and that if they do..........they even know we are here.

A new version of SNEeSE, a Open-Source SNES emulator for DOS, has been released today. Here's the list of changes to v0.74:
Render: Altered clip window setup code
Sound: Corrected behavior of invalid range values in BRR header byte, thanks to Brad Martin for the correction
Sound: Corrected bug in ADSR/GAIN switching; when switching from GAIN to ADSR, envelope update time was not set based on current ADSR state
Sound: Restructed BRR decoding
Render: Changed the back area color addition hack to actually add to color 0 instead of replacing it, helps many games
Render: Added support for dual window clipping with OR or AND logic modes of 8x8-tile backgrounds with no offset change or mosaic
Sound: Corrected sample loop behavior, erroneously changed it in 0.73, fixes Sidmania
