  1. gonna go see this later tpday... i like these recent comics to movies, some of them do, do good like spiderman, batman, or xmen, the previews for this look awesome, i know its going to be great

any1 else think keanu reeves will always be Neo? you kno what i mean

  2. Kega Fusion is a Genesis/Sega CD/32X/Master System & Game Gear emulator for Windows.

"You may have noticed the big jump in the version number? Somebody commented that they didn't bother trying Fusion, because of the low version number... Well, since there has been Kega, Lazarus, and now Fusion, that makes this Kega 3.0, right?"

    • Fixed problem with 32X PWM when changing SampleRate.

    • Added Genesis Border Colour Emulation, and option to disable it.

    • Small fix to 6 button pad code (Double Switch - thanks TascoDeluxe).

    • Much improved Sega Mouse support.

    • Config Dialog now remembers what page you were on

    • Removed ISO/BIN reading for SegaCD - this is now handled by the BIN/CUE engine. You won't notice any difference, but trust me, its better

    • Fixed bug in BIN/CUE engine when multiple files were used.

    • Added MP3 support to the BIN/CUE engine. Yes, this means that Fusion now supports ISO/MP3. Fusion uses the Windows Codec and therefore contains no patented algorithms. Too many people asked for this feature, so although I didn't really want it, it's now there.

    • VSync now works in Windowed mode. Be aware that this can severely slow down the emulator, especially if your monitor is not set to a multiple of 50hz or 60hz, depending on the region of the game you are playing.

    • Made improvements to both Standard and Alternate Timing modes.

    • Added Pro Action Replay support for the Genesis.

    • Added GameGenie and Pro Action Replay support for the GameGear and Master System.

    • Added CodeFinder for Pro Action Replay.

    • Fusion should now be compatible with WinXP Visual Styles.

    • Added "Fast Forward" mode. Probably doesn't work if VSync is enabled...

    • Various small optimisations.

    • Fixed a couple of minor issues affecting the SegaCD BIOS CD Player only.

    • When Fixed Aspect is disabled, Filtering is enabled, and you are running an NTSC (USA/JAP) game, the screen will now be slightly stretched. This works for all consoles. Stretching does not happen for PAL games, because PAL TVs show more lines than NTSC TVs, and because some PAL games use the extra portion of the screen (Virtua Fighter 32X, for example). And no, it doesn't completely remove the Master System border. That would look very, very wrong.

    • Now supports up to 24 Render Plugins. This should now be way more than enough.

    • Switched around the naming of the various Scanline modes. People like it better this way.

    • Fusion will now start in fullscreen mode if it was exited from that mode. Other stuff that I've forgotten..

  3. WinFellow is an Amiga emulator for Windows.

    • 1. New sprite handler

    • The emulation core has been upgraded with a new sprite handler. The missing sprites within SuperFrog, Alien Breed, Hybris & Shadow of the Beast are now visible. Next to this, a sprite priority bug has been fixed. This fixes graphical glitches within Bart vs. the Space Mutants and Cannon Fodder. The sprite emulation is still far from perfect and improvements can be expected within future releases.

      2. Conversion of assembly code to C code

    • The emulation core of Fellow was mainly written in assembly code. This made it hard to fix bugs and hard to add features. It also makes WinFellow dependent on x86 compatible CPU's. We started conversion of all assembly code. Already more then 45% of this code has been converted to C code. Almost all chipset related assembly has been converted and mainly the 68k (cpu) emulation needs to be done. If correctly done, the end user should not see any difference, it is a future investement into Fellow (the emulation core of WinFellow). It will make Fellow portable to other platforms (PowerPC G5 (Apple), Samsung ARM Processor (HP iPAQ) and the Intel PXA270 processor (PalmOne Zire 72)) and make it easier to add features and fix bugs.

      3. User friendly configuration file handling

    • The loading and saving of configuration files is now left to the user, instead of WinFellow writting every made change directly to disk.

  4. DSemu is a GBA emulator & soon to be DS emulator for Windows.

"I now have seperate DS mmu and gpu source files. The DS mmu copies the ROM over to 02004000 as the hardware seems to, and the gpu does nothing different (not even the resolutions) yet. Even so, I now have gba.dll AND ds.dll, and that is good news.

Good enough to warrant a versioning up, I think. I've hit beta E, so y'all can celebrate this fact by downloading it and trying it out. If you want to load a DS rom, the only way to change DLLs right now is to modify LoadDS in the INI file. You can probably work out what values the variable can take.

And before I get all sorts of complaints, I know it'll crash. I've just put the compilation framework down, that's all.."

  5. MESS is a emulator which emulates a large variety of different systems.

    • System Driver Changes:

    • [APPLE2] Changed joystick default key mapping so not conflict with keyboard mappings.  [Nate Woods]

    • [APPLE2] Fixed a regression that could cause the screen to flash under certain situations.  (bug #634) [Nate Woods]

    • [APPLE2] Fixed a regression that prevented certain Apple II models from booting introduced in MESS 0.91.  (bug #635) [Nate Woods]

    • [APPLE2] Complete rewrite of Apple II banking.  [Nate Woods]

    • [APPLE2] Driver will now accept.dsk images with up to eight extraneous bytes.  (bug #638) [Nate Woods]

    • [COCO] Added support for The Rat graphics mouse.  (bug #639) [Tim Lindner]

    • [PC200] Fixed driver to successfully boot.  [John Elliott]

      User Interface Changes:

    • [WINDOWS] Toggling the menu bar will no longer change the window size.  [Nate Woods]

      Imgtool Changes:

    • Created a new Apple ProDOS Imgtool driver (only reading supported for now.)  [Nate Woods]

      Source Changes:

    • The core is based on MAME 0.92.  This incorporates all features of the update to this core.  [MAME team]

    • Changed core to support multiple devices of the same IO_* enum value.  Note that when this is the case, indexing devices with calls that assume a one to one mapping like image_from_devtype_and_index() are no longer legal.  [Nate Woods]

    • [Windows GUI] Fixed a regression that could cause INI files to be erroneously written to the main directory.

  6. you talking about that orange one? or do mean that blue one... :banghead:

time for a change, i like this new one cuz it  was the 1st one i tried on this monitor and it looked good

i get my backgrounds here (warning: contains some suggestive ads) :P either there or toeng.com

edit: whats wrong with emule? ;P

the blue one, not sure.. it's the theme, I'm not talking about the wallpaper, you had yer icons lined on a horizontal basics in the middle of yer desktop, it was one heck of a nice theme, not sure if it was a window theme, but it's impressive aight.

oh and about the site you posted, THAT IS TRUE DEVIATION OF GFX :P (not the ads =P)

btw.. emule may have everything yer looking for, but their slow as ants dragging away a dead donkey.

ahh... the horizontal setup, only reason i did it b4 was so it wouldnt cover up the gfx in the bakground, not much innovation there ^^

emules not as slow as it seems, jus walk away, like for example i'll go take a shiet and vwala, its done (5mb files anywayz)

ive tried windowblinds and styleXp b4... its slows up my pc so i dont use those programs anymore (only got 192mbram as it is)

  7. new lcd monitor this time, 1280x768 reduced to 600x360 =)

What ever happen to your old style theme ? the one you post in A@H 2 years ago, it was the best desktop anyone seen, we all wanted it hehe.

  9. Gens is a Sega Genesis, Sega-CD, 32X emulator for Windows.

    • Fixed a display corruption/flickering bug with DirectX that would often occur when switching between windowed and full-screen.

    • Fixed a bug in regards to restoring windowed state (minimized/maximized/etc) when switching between windowed and full-screen; sometimes Gens would not switch out of full-screen properly.

    • New build process for win32 version, using MS VS.NET (VC70) with performance optimizations. Resulting binary is larger, but runtime performance appears better. Probably runs more smoothly on slower machines.

  10. DSemu is a GBA emulator & soon to be DS emulator for Windows.

"The ARM instruction validator that mic's working on grows all the time. It has 4 screens now! And after a bit of hacking (most notably, fixing rotated-operand LDR to actually rotate the carry in for RRX), I get green lights across the board. I've been assured that Gebea and sGBA do just as well, though, so I still have better competition.

I've packaged the all new ARM-wrestler ROM into the download Zip, so head over to Downloads and try it out."

  11. EmuZWin is a Spectrum-128K/48K emulator for Windows.

    • Net Play developed more.

    • Keyboard-separated games also are supported and it is possible to play the same game from several client PC's with running emulators.

    • Automatic switching rules (for time-separated games) can now be set very easy, there are no programmer skill required at all to setup a scenario). Simple example of such scenario provided for BATTY, just load it and try.

    • Compression (UCL and LZip) also are supported.

    • Hidden Moves mode made hidden also for Direct-X full screen.

    • Keyboard state now provided by the server rather then restoring it while "replaying" frames like in Action Replay.

    • Separate top menu item Net added in the main menu, and hot keys to control connection without switching to Connection window (Alt-0 - pass moves to the next player, Alt-1 - to the first, etc. to Alt-8 and Alt-9 to request moves).

    • Also some bugs fixed on connection/disconnection, so working with Net Play became more stable and speed of playing over network became more reliable. Now Net Play tested in a local network with two computers connected and works well in such case.

    • Some possible problems with graphic output fixed, especially for Windows9x and low desktop resolutions. Working under 16 colors on real hardware can be still slow (case of 1 bit per pixel, 4 planes). But other modes work fast enough now. If 320x200x256 video mode requested for DirectX full-screen but the hardware can not satisfy this request, the next mode 640x400x256 is tryed.

    • Smooth Scale graphic filter now requires only MMX, and not need SSE2 to be available (so it can work on Pentium II with MMX, at least).

    • Configuration dialog redesigned a bit to fit in lowest resolution display (640x400).

    • An option added 'Dynamic priorities' (in the Configuration), by default it is reset. It has effect in NT/2K/XP and controls treads priority on-fly achieving in some cases better performance (but setting permanent task priority can stop working).
