  1. SF2MJ look in the ini file which has to be there or it wont run its babe0002/tdata/mamedox.ini something like that. Fum I actually have done some work on optimising my build and although its small I have made some improvements in framerate smoothness etc. Also Ill be getting Crystal games working soon hopefully right now I have a big memory leak but should be in BETA5, is there any other features you use in HK version most to me are clutter. People say aspect ratio but its badly setup IMO for starters its just correct for 4x3 not 16x9 or 1280x720 also when you stretch for full screen it shouldnt do that to the horizontal games in my option. Also did you try the fix aspect ratio for widescreen (sorry I made it slightly longer than true fix for widescreen is but I wanted to maintain just a little more of the screen ) fum if your using a widescreen?
  2. SF1 is mapped the way you say.... you will have the old config and I changed the roms name eg from sf1 to sf I think. To test the keymapping please delete the cfg folder and nv folder and then put the one from BETA4 on there has been many changes and its easy to get this stuff screwed up as both stf and I have found . Please start again with these folders. Also Fum what do you think of the new build... does it make you want to use it more than hk version yet or still a no go there

  4. Test the features, all settings ( the setting system is vastly diff from the old settings system with nearly all settings being moved around or redone )... please and suggest new features. Ill be making a list soon of all games stf and I have been working on smoothing out..... about 230 or so. Plus a list of all of the games 1225 or so recommended games and screenshots for them. I might work on some drivers once the features in BETA4 are bug free this is a Bugbash *** So need bugs *** Wether you like it better than other versions I have released or not *** What you use other mame versions for (except midway MK etc games have sound working) *** Games to add to the list *** Basic , Advanced, Hidden Settings changing around ....   5. can overwrite but will have to overwrite the save thats supplied as well only raiden fighters 2 2000 and sf1 dats changed and are now working **** ALSO Note if there isnt any real comments .... etc the BETA program will stop for a while to make way for more progress as the BETA program wont be worth the time **** Cheers guys
  6. 2 out of the 3 of them work sweet as in full build ... both ive nearly beaten. Namco classic vol 2 wasnt playable in .84 I dont think
  7. OK you can now select the Key for Autofire once we do a once over quick bug test ill release BETA 4for a Bug Bash
  8. it works fine.... BETA 4 out tommorrow BETA 4 is for Bug Bashing.... midway sound roll back is for BETA 5..... if people dont suggest or bug test BETA 4 the Beta program will stop for a while as it ties up a bit of time and no real reason for it at this stage STREET FIGHTER 1 rom is "sf" not "sf1" also you will need to remove the sf1.cfg from cfg folder and the sf1.nv from nv folder to get it to work properly if you overroad the old version
  9. for the final time sources are out there.... or submit a patch I wont be releasing sources all the time as I consistantly am working on things. Also when ever I have no one does a single thing and they just waste my time. Prove yourself to me, patch mamedox with it and ill give you live sources to work with
  10. Unless its a one click button I wont be doing it it needs to be thought about properlly... The idea is fine it needs to be very easy and an xml is painfull codingwise. I have hidden settings now for wierd options but it still not what id like to see in its present form
  11. Another Revamp of settings..... New HIDDEN ADVANCED SETTINGS ADDED...... also an option to rotate all games for screens on there side. This is a hidden setting only for very few users as it will rotate all games (fixed from other builds as they rotated horzontal and vertical games oposite ways) but the keys will be on there side if you are looking at it on a 4x3 TV.

  14. autofire key changing is 70percent in stf should be soon I started it last night
  15. it can go over the top....... need to add the new save. Itsa not buggy so no real issues overlaying it, Beta 4 will be out in the next 24hours or so, but if there is no comments etc the Betas will stop till the final which will be Beta 10

  17. whatchout guys new cfg stuff is planned for the next few days.... it will be an option to change between Xbox and Cabnet keys and it will have 2 cfg files so you can setup from one to another ... cab will have trigger keys changed around probably but that will be open for discussion (what should change in Cabnet mode over Xbox mode)

  19. Midway roll back is being atemped after Beta 5 it should be possible with a bit of time. Just remapping 100s of games and 100s of sensitivites for anlog controls. One remaps the default keys and one remaps the game itsself. If you have changed the default keys it will override the default keys

No games have ever been removed on any version of mine ever (just not optimed eg left the same as all the other versions now 1250 games have been optisied).... and hk version misses many many features of coinOPS even though it has many features I dont. 128Meg feature is supported.... screensize aspect ratios is supported in some ways, but I wont ever stretch vertical games (all options have to be put in correctly if im to put them in) Filtering is in as well

OK 220 games being added to default build setup and optimed thanks stf for support (New build now has 1200 odd default games) I need All the new lightgun games mapped for all players to use dpad and thumb and all new arkinoid type games to be remapped for left right trigger left right pad and left right analog for all players plus all of good games like stadium cross arnt mapped very well I will go though them ive finished everything else for them... shots, manufactures, years, renaming game tweaks, cats, romstatus, nvs its the final thing to do now then they will be added
  22. reskinning is for final thats a patch in.... you will have to wait theres more to come This is BETA for testing new features and drivers Raiden Fighters 2000 and SF1 now playable remeber 50 to 100 games remaped , fixed senitivities , fixed dates or manufactures

  24. number 1 ill look at it sometime number 2 I havent skinned 720p skin 3hsf2 isnt in this build at present i have a build with it in but some games hav issues and the frame rate drops on all cps2 a little

OK fum I added in an option "Correct Rotated Games Aspect For Widescreen" they looked to stretched for me but fine in 4x3 TV next beta will hold this option I can add so many aspect ratio stuff now its not funny 4x3 16x9 720p aspect correct for both vert and horizontal games plus stretched to fit screen and also scaled to fill screen (cutting some of it off) not sure what options and how acurate I cant the aspect ratios its up for discussion
