OK I have to fix that as I now have a function called rotate vertical games (90deg) ... cant believe people say they want this feature when it doesnt even work for people that put there monitor on it side ive found so many bugs. But ill get it going so it turns vertical games if on and the keys will also operate left=left right=right etc (for that I will have to rotate them) this way it will play on a normal TV properly Im normally on about 4pm New Zealand time.... no known dump issues arnt in ignite there are multiple issues with the games you sent like bangbeard locks up after first level etc but we need to talk via MSN as this stuff gets confusing

also if I rotate the screen 90 my build the vert games rotate 90 and the horizontal games rotate 270 is that the same for you fum if so ill fix it

I gave you the source...... kenshiro its not closed IQ has it ... its on ftp etc also my version of mame isnt the true open source one you can continue on 3 or more versions no worries and up untill the last few weeks the drivers where the same as mamedox 1.1 and source is avail for that at present if I fix my side IQ said he may be able to fix crystal drivers for alot faster full frame rate cross fingers

the source for coinops was released at same time on same ftp by me it was up to others what they gave out and they didnt do a good job id say most have the last BETA which was really close and bug free. I guess the source never makes it to torrents etc but people have it. PS you really should fix screen tearing in your build cps2 game are quite effected by it at times Are you working on any other drivers like golden axe 2 driver update? or Galaxy force / power drift driver if so I to am looking at that and any help would be great and or any other games that are buggy or dont play, I also have prelim code for dual launcher so games like MK etc run in .72 core not .78 core for speed

The Source has been released to many, but ive updated since then, not sure how to make it truely open source maybe a sourceforge or something (i cant be arsed managing this stuff im open for people to help with the project in little ways to help me do the stuff I can). I have alot of source that I havent added to my build as well eg features that seem pointless and bloat but easy to add and HK has, so some may want it and can add it. Im no expert on drivers like you I just make the launcher rock and reskin and gui stuff. I have played with drivers and added a few myself it would be good to work with you Bender I know your skills in areas far exceed mine (IG is also very helpfull and ill be calling on stf and others to do some lower level stuff soon so I can optimes 100s more games) and you maybe surprised about what I can add. Source is fine my prob is keeping it up to date or how ever the source was released to many that asked for CoinOPS Gold but as I say ive added alot since then. MSN me it would be good if I can have yourstuff as well or we can release a build together im open for discussion I know from the past your a good guy with great skills maybe we have diff goals but maybe we dont and can make the best mame together for the public to enjoy PS im currently 50percent though new screen roation code.... so it will rotate 90deg any game with cat of top down shooter and the keys will work like normal (for people that want to fill the screen on there TV but play it like normal) and also looking at Video support that is up for discussion at present as well

Optimised CPS2 games so they look better and glitch less

not sure how to handle rotate screen right now its for someone wanting to turn there monitor on the side... was thinking of change it to rotate vertical shooters and it wouldnt rotate the keys ... this would really be to fill the screen in 4x3 not for 3x4 setups this would best suit me and rotate a section of games but controll the same as if it want rotated. Other non vertical shooters wouldnt be effected so would mean not micromanaging the settings so much which is a goal of mine.

ok readded sound thought it didnt run well vsync on or off in ignite is a waste of time as they are both the same setting

primal rage is now setup and so is dino rex to have no sound so they run smoothly. Log onto MSN Fum I know you have the MSN now I have a Beta and your the best man to test the new advanced mode stuff primal rage 2 is supported but it wont run very well.

you should hop onto MSN fum with me and ill sort out all the list (takes about 10seconds)... I have a build for you to test you can see 720P working and see if I should add it properly... test only that allows alot of advanced settings when in advanced mode (keymapping adding removing games vmm sound altering rotation filter revamped is only aloud in advanced mode, when advanced mode is off all these options are removed ) also when advanced mode is turned off vmm is turned off sound is turned on Neo Geo Unibio is turned off and screen rotation is disabled so its configured for general use . I might be able to add hyper street fighter without changing all the CPS2 stuff if I can ill add it. I have a build with hyper street fighter but some other cps2 games are now a bit buggy that werent before ill disable sound on primal rage automatically are there any others? also ill get ig to see if he can speed it up for us at all so it can play with sound

I havent added it as yet as q sound has changed so all CPS2 driver will be updated cause diff CPS2 roms is quite a few cases. Im open to doing it still just means some more roms will change from orig if you give me a list with all games you want in the vmm ill add it so you never have turn vmm on although it is now a setting to do so

I dont release never have..... id say coinops is alot diff from mamedox and I know it is coding wise as I also helped with Mamedox and can see all the coding changes (the changes from Mameox to Mamedox is about 50 changes Mamedox to CoinOPS is at least 500 more little changes).... Roll back to Mameox and use it for a while if your using coinops and you will see they are vastly different really. I any sorry im just pissing around if I want something done I tend to do it if not I tend to listen to people talk about it and sometimes they dont relise how easy it is if they spent a few hours looking into it and less time talking about it they could do it. Critisim is all good cause I do it for what I want thats it really I listen to peoples option just to see if I want it in then I decide for me its just what I want in the build. I have offered many other features in source but everyones to lazy to do the compiling of there own builds. For me running CoinOPS in HD with a simple intuative GUI and not worring about any settings works great for me and I have listened to all what people said and purely for me if its not there I dont use it so its gone....its nothing personal. ive asked for people to test to help to do little work for stuff and it allways ends up with if I want something ill have to do it myself so as I said from day one this is what I want, I know people will hate it and hate the decision for the new build but it has never stopped me in the past and ive seen nearly everyone talk the talk and leave and do nothing real and im still doing what I want my mame to look like. Critising is all good by the way but is pointless im still just adding stuff I want as I allways have and given stuff to general public at times out of my control then.... I love the passion people show on forums and little to do with actaully making anything that people use or want, it amuses me. But due to passionate people saying they dont want a build till its ready no more Betas etc will ever be released and ignite will be months and months away as the scope is very large and people dont want multibuilds even though a few games now go that never did on any other build and some have been fixed that havent on any other build

your such a great coder and help out so much it people like you that make the emulation world get further and further ahead hehehehe sorry just joking ..... hey honestly im just jokin with you, you take it very seriously and only have tech knoweldge no real skill to help it a shame you should learn about the real stuff under emualtion and help out its all open source . I have no issues with people not using my build and promote hk build and fbaxxx to some people at least to try it as its more what they want Coinops is coded for a dif audience... its up to them but you my friend are amuse me with your passion and I love to see it

why not add it to vm.txt yourself so you never have to set it up manually or give me the codes to add for the full build... as in strider 2 will run now even though I dont support it the vmm is setup for it

Bonus JZ you say this splits some that know emulation and those that dont.... I know about emulation but I feel sorry for general people that want to enjoy emulation without know it all emulation people using a steep learning curve putting them off. Shame on you Bonus let people that want to play just grab a package and play without learning a whole new mamehead language. For you want a elitest package I understand but I know of how many issues are in HK build and its many many issues that have been fixed, plus there so many GUI features missing that arnt skin related or are skin and code related, plus it runs on a nice HD TV now and looks pretty maybe not exact aspects but on a 42inch LCD it isnt close to the same as old school days. why not get them added in properly so they run with vm off also if you looked at previous screenshots vmm is a settings now as is screenrotaion raiden fighters works without setting up vmm so does crystal of kings

Standalone wont come out till im happy with Full release and there will be locks in place to ensure this...it will be up to you guys to handle this stuff correctly this time

allow to remove and scan and also keymap changing is added by Adding Advanced settings enabled... VSync will never return it changes nothing as fixing vsync is basical turning off all syncing
