  1. There's also the problem with "error" data that many PSX ripping/copying tutorials talk about. If this isn't really an issue, I don't know why they kept releasing them that way other than "well, they did it that way, so we should too". Too bad ISO isn't complicated enough to really understand multisession. That'd make DC rips a heck of a lot easier to burn. I don't think they really thought about MIL CDs when the instituted the file format, though.

  2. IMO, stories are just that. Most people usually have an active imagination and the thought of the after life is always a consistent theme. After all, it gives us the feeling that there's something beyond the human "flesh" existance.

  3. Pay site? That's blasphemy in the "gore industry"! Blah, that stuff was never all that great. The midi, IMO, was a pretty lame way to "boost" their atmosphere.

Edit: Sorry GameCop, didn't know for sure if I could post it. Anyways, I shouldn't have posted it. Again sorry. :D

  4. The swap trick works by triggering the the motor to eject or replacing the CD/DVD in the drive if you have a flip top. I think the swap tricks should work on any system and probably almost any game. The only problems you may have is if you happened to purchase and use cheap CD-R/DVD-Rs.

  5. The blue version is just a hack that changes all the fireballs to the color blue. AFAIK, those files don't have any viruses as my anti-virus software (Norton Anti-Virus 2004 w/ recent virus definitions) didn't detect any. You can find most of those roms from Dream Generation. Just click on the link that looks like the NeoRAGEx icon and from there, select ROMS or HACK ROMS. You'll find the blue version in the hacks section. Check the sticky at the top of the forum for the Kawaks w/ loader and I *think* there's a link to a site with the Nebula loader in FTP & Weblinks section.

  6. I don't know if Windows CE is necessarily autoboot or not, but according to the Echelon self-boot tutorial says that binhack doesn't need to be done on it. You can go to Boob! to find a tool that converts CE bin files to approximately Katana files (not positive, though). That may work, also you can use the /nohack option with bin2boot so it doesn't hack the bin file.

  7. Kaioshade, I already mentioned the "problem" with PSX. By standards, I mean the file types that "warez" groups usually release them as. PS2 DVD images work fine as ISO images and is practically a standard (that and GI). PS2 CD images should probably be in BIN/CUE format unless they're CD rips (could be in ISO, I guess), same as PSX. I'd think Xbox images should be ISO or GI for DVD and either ISO or BIN/CUE for CD rips.

  8. Axl, you don't like conservationists? Are you sure you don't mean conservatives? Um, I don't think communists would fall under anti-homosexual since they're the extreme left... Nazis would be right, though. Rag, you also gotta make sure the ghost storage facility isn't reaching maximum capacity. Also, watch out for the afterworld court as they don't like it when you "zap" ghosts. Make sure you're not messing with demons either as they're a whole different story. :D

  9. What's considered supernatural are things that defy physical laws. Most things we don't understand don't usually fall under supernatural anymore since we aren't as superstitious as previous generations. It's scientific discovery when we figure out how something actually works or how to expand the laws to fit our new understanding of "nature."

  10. Man, GryphonKlaw, didn't you know those books are all factual? I personally don't believe that all of the stories in the Bible are true, much less viable. Some of them require a stretch of the imagination, much like other mythical tales. If you're willing to believe in the supernatural, though, then all of it could have happened.

  11. I was dissing on -VIOLENCE-, I just couldn't remember if he was male or not or if that was his girlfriend posting. I say dress however you wish as long as it feels comfortable. Oh yeah, for more on metrosexuality, check out the South Park episode on it.

  12. Randomguy, that's what I was thinking about it. I personally don't believe in the paranormal/supernatural. That's what I was thinking about the "astral orbs." They like nothing more than balls of light. Oh well, people will believe whatever they want. Axl, I don't have any problems with those kinda sites. I think they're too tame anymore, but I don't want you get banned because of inappropriate linkage. (heh, linkage, my new favorite word)

  13. Depends on your definition of creepy. I know of a site that has links to all sorts of disturbing and "creepy" sites, but I don't think I can link to it. Not sure if it's against the forum rules since children are about (no porn links, I don't *think*).

  14. I always hate computer characters know for their excessive "grabbiness," such as Zangief and Hugo. I always use Chun-Li, but she can be considered cheap since her lightning kick is so easy to pull off. Personally, I feel playing as E. Honda (especially versions where he can move forward doing the hand slap) and Blanka were cheap. Blanka usually turtled and did his "shocker" move and, if you weren't looking, he'd do his rolls and roundhouses.

  15. Those are the ones I have the most problems with. My laptop's CD burner doesn't support DAO format burning, but most Nero releases are in DAO format. What's worse is you can't tell which format it is. Thank goodness for CD-RWs. You can just test the image in Nero to see if it's DAO or TAO (it'll yell at you saying it's the image format doesn't match the burning method). I usually have to burn DAO images in Alcohol with it set to DAO/SAO mode. My other burner supports DAO, but has problems with DiscJuggler, so I use my laptop for most Dreamcast games.

  16. Maybe Pedro is his name and he either is going by Galvan or changed his name to it..? It's possible he's an immigrant (legal or not) and he changed his name to sound American, but that's totally iffy since I don't think Galvan sounds too much like an American name... He definitely goes by Neo X and doubt that it's not him. By hacking that other site, he's definitely made it look like he's the hacker of 1Emulation.com. I might have been him who hacked his own site, although the image of the person looked a little younger IMO.
