  1. My only problem is that on Guru's site, he said that the cartridge is static sensitive and he killed it just by touching the pins. This cartridge is needed to decrypt the roms supposedly. I'm think, why the heck didn't he have a freaking static strap on? That's a no brainer for those who work with electronics. You can never be too sure how sensitive an item is. Oh well, hopefully they'll figure it out eventually. In the meantime, just grab a used DC and search for the ISO if you wanna play these games.

  2. I'd say NSRT because it lets you do all sorts of things. It has a comercial only database (plus betas). It lets you trim overdumped roms in zip files seemlessly. It has fixes for some of the roms and it has a great interleaved detection. It calculates the CRCs like uCON64 does, so no problems with different headers or being interleaved. IJTF_Cinder, I've used GoodSNES to check some of the roms (not using CRC32 option) from ******** and it misdetected some. It detected the Super Pro Figther Q+ BIOS that they have as an actual rom when it isn't. The file is way too small to be a rom. Plus it detected the fudged up rom WWF Super Wrestlemania (J) as being correct when it's not.

  3. Hrm, I've heard that it was Hindu. Anyways, the Nazi swastika stands for the sun and the "Hindu" (according to encyclopedia) stands for the moon since they go opposite directions. Miskie, I remember that sketch, that was funny. Especially the end part where they say why he divorced his wife. Well, I guess maybe he's from Mexico and is here as a student..? It's possible and might be likely he has family in Mexico.

  4. As I said before, I've never tried it. I don't know if it's really all that "sloppy." The pictures of it seem to show that it's pretty well made. You just have to remove the screw for the front, stick the card in, and hook the part you need to pull out. If it sucks, ah well, I'm not advocating as I said earlier. Ultimately, you get choose what you wanna do. Me, I'm gonna get a mod-chip (probably a Magic 3 or 5).

  5. Multi-verse? Where do you get that idea Mr. X? There's definitely no way to tell if there is more than one universe or not. The infinite space around the universe hardly constitutes what a deity is. Heck, the universe is believed to be finite, scientifically speaking. I guess you could say he/she/it encompasses it all, but that's the same as the Judeao-Christian (sp?) philosophy. L.S.D., I'm only say what the Gnostics believe. That's wasn't my opinion when I used to be Christian. Jesus, man or not is a matter of opinion anymore. Since "he's" not around anymore (physically, at least), it's hard to prove if he was God/God's son.

  6. Yeah, the slide is just the knife trick. The plus to it is that you won't screw up hitting the wrong stuff. I don't know how big of an issue it is. I'm not advocating the slide card, as I'd rather use a mod-chip, but I'm just saying, it's an option for those who don't want to void the warranty. The slide card is for those too afraid they'd screw something up or too lazy to bother with making sure they trigger it right.

  7. Cominus, I'm pretty sure they sell them. My cousin's fiancee's roommate bought one for them off the internet. It's easier than soldering a mod chip, but still voids the warranty. If your warranty is already null and void, then go ahead and get it. It *probably* won't harm your PS2. If your warranty is still valid and you'd like to keep it that way, go for the slide card. I've personally never seen the case for sale, though.

  8. There's always the print screen button. You just need a paint editor and you can import the pics to save them as a graphics file. If you do it that way, you could use any emulator, probably. This would inlcude bleem and VGS/emurayden.

  9. I'm pretty sure the other tricks don't hurt your drive. The only problem you *may* have is if you break something inside. That's why the Slide Card would come in handy. It's specifically made to pull the tray out. You won't void your PS2's warranty either, unlike with mod-chips and cases.

  10. I've transcended gender and sex.

    I bet you have.

Technically, "god" could be any gender or genderless. There's no way of knowing whether or not, that is if (s)he/they exist(s). Most mythological deities and some current have a "gender orientation" as God did in the Bible (written by men, so go figure).

  11. Grab Paint Shop Pro. I'm sure they still distribute a shareware version. You could also go searching for Adobe Photoshop on KaZaA or the likes. You just need a picture editting program that allows for converting file types. Is it a.img file or.bmp, BTW?

  12. It was probably the terrorist video that taped the slaying of the Jewish reporter for the Wall Street Journal (I'm not sure if that's what he worked for). The world is pretty depraved maidenmasher, you can find some really sick stuff on the internet if you look. Back on topic. I've never encountered any ghosts, but everytime I go to my great grandma's house (she's deceased, so really it's my great uncle's) I kinda get a spooky feeling. That's mainly because the house is so old and isolated.

  13. In game, I think it's still KoF 2K3, but with Hero in place of insert coin or press start. It's kinda like the Plus hacks/bootlegs (MS5, SvC, KoF 97, etc.). Like GryphonKlaw said, the game is just a hack of KoF 2K3. I've seen one MAME build that had a driver for Hero, but there wasn't any source. I believe it was called MAME Special Kalliera build or the likes.

  14. You mean unlimited. Anyways, God is seen as a male deity. There are a lot of references in the Bible that would lead one to believe that God is essentially male. Man was made in his image. Jesus was his son from Mary. The church is his bride. Etc. etc. They reference God in pronoun form usually as Him/His and similar. I don't believe in God myself, but when I did, it was taught that God was male. The Gnostics don't really exist anymore, except maybe as a revived "cult." Gnosticism is pretty strange as it practices mysticism. It started out from Judaism (sp?) and adopted Christian beliefs. It may have had something to do with Kaballa (sp?) originally, but I don't know.

  15. Both of those characters are in the first one, IIRC. I don't know if you could play as them, though. The dog would help you out someway or another. I think maybe he drove the ship that would bomb the enemies in the first one. The scientist was the guy responsible for you and/or the dog, IIRC.

  16. Sounds like you're missing an operating system. Seriously, though, it's possible you contracted a virus and it deleted important files or formatted your hard drive. That or you accidentally deleted an important file to the boot up process. GryphonKlaw's advice should work for any operating system, not just XP. Of course, this is assuming that you do have the intall disc. If you don't (i.e. you bought a Compaq) try to use the restore disc, otherwise you're SOL (Sure Out of Luck according to my Junior High shop teacher).
