    I heard a rumor that AMD will release AM3 soon.

     

    As for that CPU, its too slow for that setup IMO. and 90nm Windsor chips are bad for overclocking. get a 65nm Brisbane.

     

    Or if you want to future-proof it, get a core-2-duo (sorry AMD, I still love you though) and overclock it.

     

    Memory, unless your gonna get 2+ of those sticks, get 2+ 512s for dual channel

     

    LG burners are great, they arent crap IMO. But get a SATA drive, IDE is last year's news!

     

    If you want to save some more bones, buy the normal stock Vidcard and overclock yourself. I mean +20mhz factory overclock? THE FU€K!!

    3 GHz c2d is pretty damn sweet, if you want I'll trade you for my AMD,.... no I cant do that to my baby :banghead:

    I heard that microsoft only gets in for on the programs you use, thats it. They cant tell if a its a burned game or not, its just a program. But I bet you can block the "feature".

     

    As for the DVDs, almost none, except older DVD players only play DVD-r/rw. But there is really no difference. They are both good since modern burners and players are dual format.

    No, my XP is legit. I just refuse to update to service pack 2. The last time I tried, the update failed. Luckily, I had made a system restore point right before updating... <_<

     

    oh lol mines not real :P and im trying to find the new fix for the stupid windows genuine bull that keeps popping up ^^;

    Yes, avoid it like the Super-Plague!

    Yeah totally dude, build your own, it doesnt take much energy at all. My budget PC was a little less than that and it still kicks ass!

     

    As for a M/KB just get a generic KB, dont fall for those expensive gaming KBs, THEIR CRAP!

    mouse: Microsoft Intellimouse 1.1a

     

    My Samsung 713n(17') was worth about $180.

    So yeah, sorry for the long-ish post but dont buy that.
