    I went there last weekend and saw that they thad Metal Slug 5!!!! but thats it. It wasnt one of those multiple MVS systems....

     

    Do you mean that it was the PCB version?

     

     

    Most likely. I didn't have a chance to get a close look at it since there was too much of a walk.

    Shoot dudes, there's a thriving Game Works in downtown Seattle.

    It was hella busy last time I was there.

     

    Man, many people are quite jelous of you, I know I am.

     

    Oh and about the chuck'e'cheeses not being an arcade thing, I might take that back.

    Chuck E Cheese =/= Arcade?

     

    Fix'd!!! The Chuck e Cheeses I've been to has never, ever, EVER! Had 1 SF game. The most they EVER had was the ninja turtle arcade game.

     

    And the only ones I know of here in Santa Ana are laundrymats.

    Actrully, it is possible that it may be the HDD. Open up your PC, do you hear weird noises from your HDD? This is what happened to me once or twice.

     

    Yes, 4 Virtual drives is a lot, and I'm assuming that you just have the 1 master drive, that would be a lot of stress on the HDD, espeshally if you've been doing this for 2 years.

     

    I mean, one of my HDD died after 9 months because it was being heavy used for the entire 9 months.

    Obviously none of you are looking close enough to see the divider. He's got a taskbar "Toolbar" in his taskbar. It's possible to simply create, though I don't know how by accident.

     

    As I haven't used Explorer in a few years now, I'm no longer familiar with it entirely. I'm pretty sure if you right click on the taskbar and select "Toolbars" or something like that, you'll find the problem.

     

    Damn I was just gonna post that. Well hes right, thats the problem right there. You must have accidentally added another toolbar.

    I saw Dr. Strangelove for the 50th time yesterday. What a great movie. I highly recommend it.

     

    I've seen that too. Completely agree it is a great movie.

    I have no idea what is going on in that movie. :thumbsup:

    Thats alright man. Well MAME is almost like any other emulator. You dont need anything else. Easiest way to start is to get one of those MAME32 comples, these have a GUI.

    I preffer MAME32 PLUS! easy to find with google.

     

    I find that most roms that you currently have works with make, of course you still need the bios for some games.

     

    And those little snippets are just for poeple who compile their own mame, dont worry about that.

     

    All you need to do is set the ROM directories under the options menue. And if you add more games to that directory, just press F5 to rescan.

     

    Ohh woops, that extra stuff. you dont need history, and whatever. Thats just for show.

     

    EDIT: OHH FUDGE YOU IQ! That took 5 mins out of my life!
