  1. Hi friends, as you know I came here a few months ago to give help. As my "mission" is now finished, I retire (because of a new job taking a lot of my time). I can see a lot of new helping dynamic members and I know reIgnite will have good supporters. It has been good to work with you all. Take care of yourselves (PM or MSN still exist for friends).

    Steph.

  2. Is there a way to make the emulator SAVE the CPU overclocking settings? I mean, everytime I enter a game I need to re-configure this setting. I did set up a exclusive CoinOPS JUST FOR Double Dragon I and II and it would be great if there is a way to make the edited CPU overclocking as defaults!

Also, BP --- Is there a way to remap this option!

Most of the ARCADE sticks out there does not have the THUMBSTICK buttons!

    Regards,

    Cospefogo.

The CPU & volume values are not saved.

To remap it, go to the Advanced settings, ENABLE "Gamepad Defaults Can Be Remapped", then launch a game, enter the ingame menu ---> Remap Gamepad ---> On Screen Display (remap this one).

  3. Sent, now call yourself "mirhappy"

    Amazing thank you very much.

just out of curiosity what 10 games were removed from the old 1010 coinops release?

I can't say, remember the games are 1000 favourites taken from 2500 working. BP chose the games he prefered, as I brought him 250 games he hadn't tested in Gold, only the selection is different.

  4. I uploaded CoinOps Gold to my xbox and for about 3 weeks or so, it was running great. Never had a problem with it locking up or anything and it would play any rom that I tried.

About a week ago, I was playing a game and the system locked up and I had to restart it. Ever since then, coinops locks up on the title screen when it tells me to push a button to continue.

Since then I have deleted and reinstalled the TDATA and UDATA files for CoinOps Gold, which didn't fix the problem. I then loaded CoinOps Ignite and tried that. Same thing happened. It locks up on the title screen whenever I push a button.

What happened? How can I fix this and get my mame roms running again?

Try to disable the splash screen in mameox.ini, make sure (as Fu says) you're using mameox.ini included in babe2009, ---> splashscreen=0 .

  5. When I was looking through the threads for the Gold release a while ago I thought I saw that BP gives out the source and the build to a few select people and lets them handle the distribution. I was asking for a copy in case I wanted to change anything for my own personal use...not to release a darkjedv version or anything like that. That would be silly and counter productive. I could always help if that was needed as well.

I didn't say you would release anything, just wanted to ask if you had a good idea to submit here, Just ask BP for the source.

    Peace

  6. Where can I get a copy of the source code of the final release?

    Thanks!

Is there a feature you'd like to change in it ? (Anyway as Hell says, BP has the source and maybe some helpful programmers too). BP intends to open a new thread with ReIGNITE, normally including new drivers, I don't know about new features.

  7. OK sorry I placed gpstar in vm by mistake. The real name is f1gpstar, as mine works fine here i didn't see that my change had no effect (made it for you). When testing a lot of games at the same moment, it's sometimes good to reboot the XBox (to reset ram & cache). Sorry again for the small waste of time.

  8. For P47 aces, i set the game in freeplay, after a wait (listening to my hdd noise :o ), I just press start from time to time and it runs correctly. No problem in 480p, this only happens in 720p.

Tengai Starts after a long wait too.

  9. You can find gpstar in 'general games', works fine with 4 40 65535 here.

P47aces is in the last list (480p/720p) and works here after a long virtual mem organization.

(find them easily with the notepad search function)

As only a few games can't load at your place, the best way is (according to me) let the user set it himself.

Users can just use the vm manager in advanced settings, and try values.

    For example

    4

    1024

    65535

It's just an example, the second value must be tried with the highest settings for a quicker launch and less hdd access.

    Then divide 1024 by 64 : 1024/64=16.

You get this way the value for vm.txt or vmhidef.txt: zipname 4 16 65535

Edit the value in vm .txt or place zipname 4 16 65535 at the top of the list (the first value found will be used by CoinOPS).

My opininon is if you have fixed all the last values for your xbox, there are now good chances for a perfect work with most of the xboxes.

Hehe, now the full release my friend ?

  10. i'm using the standalone as well and my xbox is chipped with a x2.. and none of them worked but the i changed like stf said to do and it worked great

i don't know whats going on now since they work for you fum.

BP I meet the same VM issues, and you know how well I use CoinOPS. Hellsfury is right. What can be the explaination ?
