BP, I downloaded and installed CoinOps ShowRoom Lite and made sure the T/U Data folders were deleted before launching. The same lag is still present when launching games, returning to the game list and return to the dashboard.
I'm sure since both myself and Dballs have SATA hard drives, that must be part of the problem. Since this didn't happen on previous versions of CoinOps, could you please check to see if something was changed in the code that could be causing the issue?

The last time I met this problem was when I was giving a hand with CoinOPs: Because of installing & removing many versions of C.O., the freespace on my HDD became smaller & very fragmented. So one thing had to be done: FTP the content of E Drive to PC, format E, FTP Content of E drive back (of course no reboot, no power off). (If I remember well E:/ is the partition used for the virtual memory as well as it's used for the babe saves, anyway it worked well with me).

Sure. At the moment only the excellent model 2 emulator (by Master Elsemi) plays model 2 almost perfectly.
It's not that bad to put a PC in a cab, with XPadder and a big Arcade stick (or force feedback wheel, pads, gun, mouse, trackball...). But we all love XBox...

Just wondering if Virtua Cop will work on ShowROOM? Its only 9MB, or can anyone with a 128MB xbox confirm if it works as mines only 64MB
As a Sega Model2 game, Virtua Cop Shouldn't work at all.

do you think it makes enough difference to use it? also, i have 128mb or ram so would i even have problems with it?
I'd answer: just try it Neo. I personnally don't like the result but you can make tests with it activated, as nothing wrong will happen, except slowdowns or memory issues (for 64Mb Xbox).

what are the "WARNING!!! Video Enhancing Effects"? and why are they warning?
That's a HQ effect like "2xsaI" or "Eagle" effect, using RAM, "Warning" because of the slowdowns this can generate.

You can try to look at this file: e:/TDATA/babe2009/system/DRIVERS.list
which is generated at a first launch. I haven't tried to modify this file but it contains names, years & manufacturers.
(PS I don't know if the save is still "babe2009" in the latest releases, but this can be easily verified with the gamesaves manager in UnleashX)

I love the "Mesh Translucent" option ! This is exactly what was needed by The SegaSaturn in the old years, the argument against Saturn when the Playstation lovers talked about their favourite console. (aaaah, this was a good time for videogames).

If you're interested in learning more on your own, you can buy Babylon and find some packages online for your computer so you can type the letters that aren't on english keyboards. The only reason why I have it is because my mother couldn't deal with just what we have. Our Norwegian and Swedish buddies get the point haha.
I think I'll really learn more soon, I'd like to go back to Norway and maybe live there (I spent my best years there: 14-20), my father is also ready to find me a job and most important I fed up with France and frenchies (I'm the best patriot for a country).
The only bad thing is I'm a 37 years old "mofo": not so easy to move when married + child + not so young (but cute lol)

No Hera and I feel ashamed, of course jeg forstaar litt norsk (sorry no norwegian letters on my keyboard), ogsaa kan jeg snakke litt, men har jeg glemt alt. (sure there are mistakes). Jeg gikk paa franske Skolen i Oslo, hvor jeg bodde = a lot of french friends !
English was spoken everywhere in Norway, movies in Cinemas were in OV subtitled (it has changed today, my father's still & will die in Norway), so it was easy not to learn the language even with my good norwegian friends. I took courses only the last year for a girl I loved but it was too late (+ she became a bitch...)
... I really don't like the french education for foreign langages but I'm now a bit old to change things.

Hey my Label has released the first tracks HERE if some are interested in having a look
They have "signed" an exclusivity during 4 weeks with this site but later the tracks should be sold at a lot of other places.

A very cool site again, as a french I come and read english for "culture" here. HmmHmm.
I have a regret, the white skin is a pain during long readings, the black one saved my eyes much better. Will you keep this skin, update it or give a choice to the users ?

Hey man I have a small suggestion. When me and some friends are playing arcade games on the xbox Back is insert coin and start is start obviously and this is cool, but someone always accidentally presses each one too fast when they need to continue, the game closes, and then we have to start all over. I'm not sure if its because of some kind of delay in the emu/controller, a slightly sticky button, or someone with fat fingers, but is there any way you could add an option or just change it so that the emu would make you have to hold down both for 3 seconds or something to quit? That would be awesome.
Your solution could be remapping the exit function at only one pad (1st player) and also on other buttons of your choice.

I have a simple explaination for this: I have lived 6 years in Norway (1986-1991) and used to speak english there. But I didn't get any opportunity to continue when I went back to France (a country where most people only speak 1 language and often speak it in a bad way)!
So a simple language can be easily understood by me, but slang things or familiar expressions are difficult !

I'm actually using the big & excellent Tankstick (2P + trackball) from X-Gaming, with the latest MAME + a lot of emus. I'll wait for the PC version of SF4 too !! I have a PC configurated for arcade only (no internet, no program), directly plugged with HDMI on my HDTV.
But cool object L.S.D !!!!! A collector in the future .

I will continue with my Korg Karma + Cubase at the moment (not so much money to change my material). I still have a tracker on my HDD if samples were needed (I started with trackers on Amiga500). The label intends to put a voice on the music (for Free Agozer). And sure, I'm working on a new track. I'll prepare your link in a few hours Krosigrim

Hey... how come your songs are cut to real real short, 45 seconds... what if I wanted to have your song on my profile?! From what I hear, they have quick and smooth transitions, your not one to linger at a point... and that is gooood. Id like to be able to hear more though.

Do you have a lot of freespace on your E Drive ? (I keep 400Mo free all the time)
Are you using a lot of directories for your roms ?
