    Sega's Big E3 Annoucement!

    "The announcement on May 12th at 10:00am PST will send shockwaves throughout the industry and will be an unprecedented first in the gaming market. Sega intends to form an alliance with a major console maker and co-develop the next generation console with them. In turn, all Sega games will be exclusive to that console and the Sega brand will be affixed to the front of the console much like a "Dolby Digital" logo. Yes, Sega is becoming a brand identification.

     

    So no Dreamcast 2, No Alex Kidd Gamecube, No BS.

    I use NOD32 - it is considered one of the best Anti-Virus programs...its sooo good that even Microsoft uses it to scan their windows etc disc before shipping them out....

    First Xbox 2 Demos

    Microsoft shows first demos of Xbox 2 - This week Microsoft sent shockwaves across the games industry, showing the first ever real-time demos of the next-gen software tools which will power Xbox 2 (Xbox Next). The demos, which formed the epicentre of Microsoft's XNA announcement, were presented by J Allard, Lara Fry of the Xbox ATG and Chris Donohue from the Windows division.

     

    The 3 demos were running on a high spec Windows PC, and highlighted what gamers can expect from the next generation of console hardware - ie Xbox 2

     

    The first demos was created by High Voltage Software and, entitled 'Rex' showed a creature moving through an empty landscape, mutating at intervals into entirely different entities. The creature is controlled in real-time via Controller S (part of Microsoft's new initiative to standardise controllers across Xbox and Windows platforms) switching from furry yeti, to six-legged insect, to four-legged abomination, to an equally random, undeniably cute, armadillo.

     

     

     

    The second demo, called 'Film Noir', offers a viewpoint of the technology. A young, seductively attired female sits at a table in a cafe, tantalisingly tracing her finger across the table as a cigarette burns idly in a nearby ashtray.

     

     

     

    The third demos called 'Crash'', created by David Woo of Pseudo Interactive, you are presented with the one of the shiniest car you'll ever see, a Saleen, sat in a virtual garage. The camera twists and turns, headlights flash, and actual, proper real-time reflections will amaze you.

    Well, I did it and it looked cool...but the eyes just annoyed the hell out of me so I said F@ck it and got a new Avatar from FightersGeneration...hehehe

    Actually, most of it is pretty true.

     

    RPGS will always be a the first genre in gaming followed by fps and fighters.

     

    Theres more a of storyline in RPGS than multiple short storylines in fighters and stuff.

    Your right but comeon SF2 was a defining moment in videogame history...as were mario and sonic, nintendo and sega, SNES and Genesis.....etc

    SF2 LOST TO SMRPG!!!

     

    That is the moment I decided that the masses at GameFAQs don't know jack about hardcore gaming. They are just FF fanatics that love Mario and the fam.

    hehehe..its expensive but people who are holidays don't really care...because they get everything (wireless broadband in the apartments, paytv, satellite tv etc)

    that and rockers going there with groupies and the cleaning lady(chambermaid) having to wipe the cumstains off the wall....j/k

    :P Weirdanzeige you always come up with crazy ideas :D

     

    Also, K'Dash I ain't got a digital camera yet....I'm still looking for a good one to buy...
