I wish to share my dreaded list of intriguing and unsettling incidents I have observed so far, and I am not happy with all of them, to say the least. Graham Poll. He is touted as England's top referee. In the June 22 Stage 1 match between Australia and Croatia, he showed Croatia's Josip Simunic three yellow cards before marching him off the pitch. In soccer, I thought two yellow cards are enough to result in a red card and expulsion from the match! Though Poll later apologised, blaming it as a case of mistaken identity. But he is now among the 14 referees sent home before the semi-finals start. British press says the international career of this full-time referee is practically over. Valentin Ivanov. This Russion referee, whose father was also an illustrous World Cup footballer, set a World Cup record by showing 16 yellow and 4 red cards in the June 25, Round-of-16 Portugal vs Holland match. But then he blatantly ignored Dutch defender Khalid 'Cannibal' Boulahrouz who, not once but twice, studded on the inner thigh of Cristiano Ronaldo. I thought Boulahrouz should have been given the red card on the first instance as Rooney got his, this morning, for a much, much milder implication. But Boulahrouz was only given the march-off for the third serious foul, when he elbowed into Luis Figo's face. All in all, Ivanov blew 10 fouls against the Netherlands, 15 against Portugal; but 7 yellow and 2 red cards to the Netherlands, and 9 yellow and 2 red cards to Portugal. Rightly, Ivanov has also been asked by FIFA to pack up and go home. Luis Medina Cantalejo. This referee is from Spain. In the Italy vs Australia Round-of-16 match on June 26, looking at the replays, I want to say I smell foul on his decision to fault Australia and award Italy Italy with the 93rd minute penalty that ended socceroo mania. You should see the replay of Italy's Fabio Grosso, that crooked, sinister smile on his face I normally associate with cheats, dived to gain the penalty against Australia with perfect display of showmanship. Benito Archundia. This is a Mexican referee who stirred controversy during the June 19 match between France and South Korea. I looked at the replays, especially during the 31st minute when South Korean goal-keeper Lee Woon Jae was trying to scoop away a header from opponent Patrick Viera. The ball looked to have crossed the goal line. But the referee did not blow the whistle and instead, pointed to the centre circle, and alamak, gave a free-kick to South Korea. I am not sure if this referee has bothered to check with the linesman. Marcus Merk. This German referee took charge of the June 22 match between USA and Ghana. American defender Oguchi Onyewu and Ghana's forward, Razak Pimpong were engaged in a header grab, USA -- who looked to have win the header -- was faulted for a push and Ghana was given a spot-kick. In the end, Ghana's Stephen Appiah scored the winning goal and onward to the Round of 16. I can only hope that these are but the few matches that endured the bad referees and bad refereeing this season -- inconsistency, doubtful calls, poor decisions, and overzealously card-happy! You probably could have spotted more than I did.

Now I regret selling my GTA

I prefer it that way. At least give them chance to develop the storyline. You can;t have a Black Spider for half an hour and then Bam! here comes Venom. I prefer Venom to debut in 4 (with a little teaser in the end of 3). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> me too. but i don't like sandman a lot they should've use someone else btw does movie follow the storyline of the comic at all?? i've never read the comic <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not sure. What i know is Spidey stick with the Balck SUit for quite some time. One movie should be long enough

Game: DJ Max Portable System: PSP Emulators: None Anyone know about Beatmania series? Hands up! Ok, now did anyone know about EZ2DJ series? EZ2DJ series is an innovative Beatmania style game which was brought to you by a Korean company, Pentavison. The EZ2DJ series was so popular that Pentavision keep on churning out sequels after sequels. Pentavision also has ventured into online gaming with DJ Max Online (which was available LEGALLY in Japan and Korea) with much success. And now, they make their boldest move by releasing a Beatmania type game on PSP, DJ MAX Portable. WTF?!? Yes, most people will have this initial thinking. Read on for my impression: Graphics: you will be greeted by a very impressive anime introduction when you start this game. MY GOD! The KOREANS COULD DRAW GOOD ANIME! Anyway, it set the tone for most of the graphics in this game. When playing this game, there will be a high quality anime music videos that accompany the songs. Some of them contain stories (some look like straight from Ragnarok), some are choreographed visuals but all are really impressive and bright and colourful. Again, impressive. Graphics: 9/10 Sound: This game can only be played using an earphone. PSP speaker did not even utilise 10% of the quality music in this game. With a pair of decent earphones, you will notice the vast difference in quality and sound effects. The range of the songs available in this game range from dance, pop, Euro beat, techno, hard rock, rap and so on. A little bit of each to please each fan of different genre athough most of the songs are much techno and "drum n bass" type. With 54 songs overall, plus a few bonus unplayable music.....GREAT! Sound: 10/10 Controls: As one suspected, the control on PSP will be a problem. Pentavision try to modify the gameplay to suit the PSP design. You will need to press the D-pad UP, LEFT and RIGHT, TRIANGLE, SQUARE and CIRCLE and the L & R pad. Confusing? Yeah, so do I, especially when the music notes are falling down like raindrop and you are scrambling to press the correct buttons in sequences. You will also need to twist the analog stick ala turntable in the arcade but PSP analog stick is so stiff, it is not a comfort. Thumbs down here, but it is not the developer's fault. Controls: 5/10 Gameplay: This game is FREAKING HARD! I have difficulty playing this game even on the EASY mode, which is the easiest setting. You will find yourself smashing at all buttons at once just to get through the levels. THis might work on Easy mode as Easy mode utilises only four buttons, but higher difficulties are not so lenient. You will have to be really, really good in order to finish all songs. Coupled with the layout of buttons, you will be frustrated and feel like throwing your PSP. It seems that Pentavision like to torture people in this game Aside from the difficulty, this game offers up to 54 playable musics. There will be the normal Arcade mode which feature Easy, Normal and Master Mode. THere is also a Club Scene mode where you play songs according to the club that you enter, be it jazz, techno or hip hop. THe game encourage you to rake up combos by not missing a beat in the musicplay, and you get to unlock cool screenarts and music videos. you also get to customise how the music notes will look like, the screenplay etc. And if you are bored with playing, you can just simply listen to the songs via the music player or watch the music videos again. Cool feature. And simply no hiccup when playing with no slowdown in framerate at all. Loading time is kep to around 10 - 15s when loading the songs which is just nice. Another downside however is online mode, or rather the lack of it. Once you have unlocked all the songs, you will find that there is nothing more for you to play. There are no features to add songs which can help to increase the replayability, like what Namco did with downloadable songs for Taiko Master PSP. A minus here. Gameplay: 7/10 Overall: Graphics: 9/10 Sound: 10/10 Control: 5/10 Gameplay: 7/10 Overall: 7.8/10 I have fun with this game. The difficulty might be frustrating and the controls will really make your fingers numb. but this game offer a fresh type of gameplay to PSP which is oversaturated with racing and sport games. THis will appeal to those looking for a different type of game on PSP. Also, you will never go wrong with a game which has a song named "Oblivion: The Gothic Lolitta Metamorphosis" (the most unique name! ) Anyway, here is the link to the official website of this game with song samples on it. Go ahead and try it. You might like it Link: http://www.djmax.co.kr/

Better luck next World Cup! To tell you the truth, I didn;t support Australia because they knock out Uruguay That penalty was a disgrace. It wasn't even there. Australia were clearly the better team. Not happy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Huh?!? How come i can;t even find a copy here? Man, the local pirate scene is slow this day. It did not help me that I now live in some forests and hills with a town in the middle.

THe most boring game in this world cup. At least the Tunisia Vs Saudi Araia give you 4 goals.

Yes, and until now, no pirated version is coming out. it seems that this game will take some time to break open the code I shouldbe able to play if I can play HL2, right?

Did you not look at the graph posted above? It is NOT possible to downgrade 2.01. However, with Fanjita's Homebrew Loader and a copy of GTA, you can still play homebrew. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The latest GTA has been patched though
