Don't matter if your CPU is "underpowered" by emsley's standards. It's still good and still has alot of kick in it left for 5-6 more years.
Video card wise, your alright. I reckon you can play Medium-High ranges depending on your screen res.

Man, what's so great about Far Cry 2? I can't for the life me get into it and just cheated my way through to see if it was more exciting.
It's a mediocre FPS game with typical Ubisoft plot. Looks pretty, but offers no redeeming qualities.

Could their medicore games help them survive? Definately, look at Atari. They managed to get out of the red because of release of Witcher and Alone in the Dark 5. Even the scene were asking to buy Atari games. The scene asking pirates to buy these games.
They'll no doubt do the same again.

Or Earthbound 2, which ever floats your boat. So a little history lesson for all of you if you don't know Earthbound 2/Mother 3.
First announced in 1996 at Nintendo Space World in Japan for the Nintendo 64 as Earthbound 64/Mother 3. It went under several delays due to the team not being experienced in using 3D software and the difficulties in programming for the Nintendo 64. Development eventually moved towards the N64DD system towards the end of it's life cycle, and at the end of August 2000, was officially canceled by Shigesato Itoi. It was not until 2 years later in 2003, that the project was revived and slated to be released on the Game Boy Advance. On April 20, 2006, the dreams of hundreds of EB fanboys came true when Nintendo finally completed and released Mother 3 to the japanese public. To the ire of fans worldwide, Nintendo to this day has not even mentioned that they will bring it over to European or American shores.
That is, until now...
After more than 13 years of waiting, the sequel to EarthBound is now in English! I hope fans of the series, new and old, will find MOTHER 3 to be just as unique and interesting as its predecessors. We tried our very best to make a worthy translation, and I think we came close to hitting that mark. With any luck, the translation will seem just as "strange, funny, and heartrending" as the original Japanese version.MOTHER 3 is filled with secrets and rarities. Characters say new things after even the tiniest of events. Take your time to explore the game's intriguing world - you won't be disappointed! And when you're done, be sure to come back here, because we've prepared many more goodies for fans to check out and enjoy post-game!

I'll just buy it when it's super cheap and they won't make much money off of it. I'm in no real hurry to play the game. Especially now since Left4Dead is supposed to cost a full $50. L4D, Far Cry 2, and Fallout 3 take precedence. Maybe Mirror's Edge.
50 bucks for L4D? I hope that's not the final price since imo the game doesn't have the content to warrant such a cost.
Yeah, L4D is full price. There are also more maps then they let on apparently. Steam is doing a 10% off right now if you pre-order. Which I'm thinking of doing actually, I can't be arsed to go down to the store, pay 60 bucks for it then come back home. Screw that.

The new movies are remakes off the tv series that look better but have less effect imo the voice overs of the tv are great Raoh and Souther from tv serries can't be touched. Raoh den 1 and 2 follow more kens path furthermore all of the do is like watching hokuto vantage.
Toki den made less sense and added nothing but more questions. I would like to see is early years of nanto & hokuto (but not like smallvile) some people like Juuza and Ryuuga and the other stars stories to become who they are
Definately, the OG voices for Raoh and Souther are totally better in the TV series. Toki den was confusing, but Sarah is hot, so I'll let it slide.
Just wish they'd animate SNK some more. OVA, movies, anything! I cannot find scans NOR the translated takubuns anymore.

HNK1 was gdlk though. HNK2 is all sorts of fucked up though.
The new movies aren't that bad either. Shin-HNK OVA series takes place in the same anime continuity though. But I hate Gackt, so screw him, he makes Shin-HNK suck.

As much as I love the HNK movies and new characters, I don't want the old stuff to be retconned out of existence. Most of all, I don't want them to retcon that Ryu is Reina and Raoh's son.

Looks like I might end up keeping the 360 version of Failout 3. I am quiet surprised that I am enjoying it ala max.
