  1. ok based on my (somewhat limited) medical knowledge, and what i understood from a doctor friend of mine, it's most likely increased salts in your system (a primary form of kidney stones)

    here's what was recommended:

1- increase your intake of water

2- cut your salt intake for at least 2 weeks... by cut, that means no more than a teaspoon worth of salt per 2 days. so no pickles or freaking mcdonalds either.

3- drink/eat things such as beats, hibiscus, honey, and sugarcane

4- while medications primarily act on the liver, avoid any non prescribed medications for a duration of 2 weeks.

    you should be fine afterwards.

but i could be wrong, so make sure you go to your doc regularly.

  2. After a long wait, Persona fans can finally rejoice... the previously Japan only Persona 2 : Innocent Sin also known by it's Japanese name of "Persona 2 : Tsumi" , The predecessor to Persona 2 : Eternal Punishment has finally been translated in English.

Widely believed to be a lost gem, now you can finally find out for yourself, don't miss the chance, especially since the project almost died close to completion.

After two long years, this patch is finally complete and ready to be played by everybody out there. If you missed the previous update about beta testing, this is what you will find in the package:

    * 100% translated text. Nothing was left out, not even some texture with Japanese text on them!

    * A patcher to be used with the custom patch file. It’s all very easy to use (instructions are included);

    * Subtitles for two movies that needed a translation, all without quality loss (soft-sub magic);

    * No more lag on the Playstation 2!

Now go and enjoy the fruit of our hard work!

  4. Me and Fatal are hommies, although i haven't really chatted with him lately cause i've been busy.

he's a really really nice guy, and sounds manly

Hope everything will go well for you. If you have a valid reason for the missing two days, and you have called in to inform them of the absence, I am sure all will be forgiven.

the two days i missed, i did have a valid reason for them... except the second day i overslept and my phone ran out of battery, so by the time i managed to call it was too late already.

today i was only going to be like 30 mins late to work, but then there's this tunnel i go through on my way to work, and there were two cars in both lanes that were broken down... making the tunnel take about an hour and 15 mins.

all in all, it's really my fault... i missed work alot before, but it's mainly cause of my flocked up luck where everything tends to go wrong ... not to mention i HATE THIS JOB, I BLOODY HATE IT!

Change jobs then :) No point in staying if you are not happy. Of cos, find a new job first before changing :)

I got a written notice about 30 mins ago.

naturally the damn idiot ignored all what i told him and decided to write me a notice anyway. i don't know, how about " i couldn't call and say i was late because i was STUCK IN A TUNNEL WITH NO CELL PHONE RECEPTION?!"

    meh flock this.

only reason i can't quit this job already is cause i can't find another one at the moment... i should've left this job months ago, but i didn't want to abandon my boss during a critical period ... but now... flock him.

  6. well, i'm about to get fired apparently at work cause i missed two days last week and i came in late today.

it's not like i missed any actual work... the job i have is mind numbing, and i want to advance my career , not sit all day browsing crap like digg.

not to mention i can do the same stuff telecommuting (and more efficiently than doing it at work) but i'm not allowed to.

not much i actually want to talk about.

  7. flock the Marvel movies.

    Seriously, flock them.

they've already ruined my two favorite marvel characters (Daredevil and Punisher)

seriously, how could they? i mean, they had the Guardian Devil storyline for DD , they had 900000 Thousand good storylines for DD that could've been adapted to the screen, and yet they decided to flock it all up and flock it beyond compare.

the punisher? i like the 1980's one more than the new one... less flashy and closer to character... the punisher goes after criminals because his family got killed in RANDOM CRIME. NOT because someone ordered a hit on them, this may seem silly, but this is flocking the origin of the punisher... this is like saying spiderman got his powers by being bitten by a rabid circus clown. Once the guy that ordered the hit is dead, punisher (considering his psychology) has no reason to go on

Ironman, somewhat nice movie (i'm not crazy about it), so based on the ultimate universe... i like how ahmed Ahmed was terrorist # 4...

besides, continuum is probably going to be an issue in these movies. spidey,DD, the avengers, the Xmen, the FF, and all those perps are supposed to inhabit the same world.but because they're screwing around... well, meh.

Movies i'm NOT looking forward to:

    The Watchmen.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NONONONONONONONONONONON

movies based on comics that i actually like:

    Stardust

    V for Vendetta

    Sin City

    History of violence.

  8. So you mean he's a coward for NOT risking his life for something he doesn't believe in?

from what i understood, he's not against what America "is", but rather what America 'has become'

so in order to be a good courageous American, he's supposed to blindly do whatever is deemed "patriotic" by others?

  9. there's a general age limit that's fine, i'm personally against someone being labelled a sex offender for sleeping with someone a few years younger (like that 18 year old kid that got his life screwed up cause he got oral sex from a 16 year old.... then again i think it was a racial thing)

but then again, this is my point, back then it was fine (and i'm sure your parents are probably in their 40's and 50's) which again, is fine, but as generation X and Y, it's WRONG and is sick because it's no longer who we are as people.

i still think a 21 year old taking fancy of a 16 year old is fine if it's mutual, but a 31 year old taking fancy of a 16 year old? how about a 50 year old?

    that's my point.

btw, my god parents got married at exactly the same ages as your mom and dad, and i respect them loads.

  10. i see your point about what's going on in malaysia, but then again that's a political movement really, i'm sure the vast majority of muslims in malaysia have nothing to do with it don't you think?

but i understand your point perfectly.

Still, what does that have to do with what's going on in iraq?

as for your second post (about the calls for blood) i addressed that already in the post you were responding to, or were you referring to malaysian muslim leaders?

  11. You know Blackknight, i dunno but a statement like :

Maybe. Or maybe you should stay. Islam could always use more martyrs, right?

sounds VERY un-mod like. in fact, that could be very easily perceived as a threat and/or religious slur.

just to point something out, i've been here for quite some time, and i am quite well known to be level headed and mature. The nature of your response is quite.... well alarming considering you're a mod.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand.

I'm currently in the middle east.

i currently watch middle east tv and read mid east media.

I fail to see the "upheaval and call for blood" that you're talking about.

i haven't heard about ANYONE sans the iraqis even talking about this, UNLIKE the whole cartoon fiasco.

so what are you talking about exactly?

and yes, the institution SHOULD apologize for it, do you know why?

Islam doesn't have a command structure, it's not a political entity, no one is answerable to anyone (we don't have the Equiviliant of a pope).

in the army, a solider is the responsibility of his commanding officer, and so on and so forth. in fact, i'd be surprised if his seniors didn't turn to him and say "ARE YOU BLOODY STUPID?! DO YOU WANT TO GET US KILLED?!" and whacked him on the head with a clue stick.

If you fail to see that the military is responsible for an apology, then i guess Japan really should NEVER EVER EVER apologize for the "comfort women" in china by the Japanese now should they? I mean, why should the japanese military/government apologize for actions taken by some of it's soliders and commanders?

This is about IRAQI MUSLIMS asking for an apology from AMERICAN SOLDIERS for an act of disrespect to the people they're sided with. Did any violence occur from this act? not that i've heard of no. Has anyone been murdered/embassies blown up over the act....etc? again not that i've heard of... so hmm, maybe asking for an apology IS the levelheaded thing to do?

i didn't see them asking british or coalition troops for an apology now did they? why? cause they didn't do crap!

Again, the leaders asking for an apology from their supposed allies is fine and dandy, the people calling for blood? some iraqi muslims and some muslims, not leaders .. but then again, all those racists killing and attacking and insulting muslims on a regular basis in the USA aren't representatives of the us or the us military now are they?

    so make up your mind.

  12. yeah, i mean up until the early 1900's the world was completely fine with girls and boys as young as 12 to marry.

it wasn't wrong, a stigmata, or anything... it was how things were.

now anyone that thinks of someone that young is a sicko (and i AGREE they ARE sickos. a 14 year old marrying a 12 year old is one thing, but this is another)
