I just finished the game and its so jawesome its not even funny. If you had asked me before what I considered the best game of all time then I would give you an instant MGS1 but now I would be pretty hard pressed to decided, so I'd say MGS1 or Xenogears. This game is as close to perfection as it gets. That being said I just wanted to add what other crashes I encountered: - During another one of dream sequences a movie like 10 to 1 count appears, it crashed with me on the 10. So the next time I tapped F7 the moment I saw 10 and it worked like a charm. - During the battle against Deus in the beginning of Disc 2. It crashes randomly during the battle after one specific Deus attack, there is no quick solution. You have to save after pretty much every turn and then load if it crashes, keep doing this till you beat it. Other than these 3 (total) the game worked flawlessly for me on Epsxe.

Sorry Agozer, it seems my ninkumpoopness has no bounds. The first tip you gave was the right thing to do. I read on another forum that you had to do it right before the sequence starts (there's a lil while where the music stops) and then right after it ends. My timing was of before is all. Thanks man.

Yeah thats the one. I tried pressing F7 before the sequence as well as bashing it throughout the sequence, still froze on the same spot.

Sup, Some of you might remember a while back the topic I posted about no sound during vids. well it was the ISO's fault. I got another one and it worked perfectly...until now. In the 1st Disc after the battle with the Ramsus forces and when the mysterious red Gear whoops him, there is a part where Sigmund talks to some masked lady and she gives something and tells him to take the Gear they found to Block D. Then Fei see's a kind of a movie after which they show him looking at a little boy, right before this it gets a little jerky but when the camera rotates around the little boy the game freezes. The emu or comp don't freeze, only the game freezes. I'm using: Epsxe 1.60 PEOpSs SoftDriver 1.16 Eternal SPU plugin 1.41 Xp 2.9 ghz Has any actually finished this game on this emu? I love the save anywhere function and wouldn't want to switch to VGS unless I have no other choice. Thanks,

If it were a woman I'd call it Suzie and marry it. Godamn its sexy, 360 got owned. If Revolution pulls through then the next XB will again be the fugliest of the three. I like the change to the controllers but not sure if they will be comfortable.

I personally will prolly get one but not right now. The only games that I like are Lumines, Ridge Racer and Metal Gear Acid. Other than these nothing has caught my attention, both released and soon to be released. When the library gets beefier is when I'll get it. You say you want to get it for Dynasty Warriors, but are you sure it alone will hold your interest? Not to mention the whole dead pixel fiasco, its one of the main reasons I'm holding back till the second or third wave.

The story is in the KOF mooks, which are released for every game from what I hear. A member on another site once gave me a taste of the story by translating it a little, it was 2001 and man was it cool (A LOT more than whats shown in the games). And this stuff is canon. As for the new KOF, I love the shake-up the roster took, it was so needed its not even funny. I've wanted Eiji since 97 and that was also the year that I thought the next one would have Kyo, Shingo, Iori in one team. My prediction was off by about 8 years lol.

They could either make a simple dent in Sony's plans and/or harm their only big hitter in the process. I would be very surprised if it made much of a difference, though it would be funny if a single game ruined a brand new systems launch.

Used your cue sheet, mounted both the ISO and the Cue sheet once each and the still the same prob. The only thing I can think of is that I downloaded a bad ISO. Thanks and sorry

I do have the CD image, I mounted it on DT and tried it and still the same happened (tried the SPU eternal plugin as well). Here is what the cue file said before I modified it to burn the game in nero: No idea what that means. Oh and you really should play this game, beautiful grpahics and an excellent soundtrack. And from what I hear it has one of the best damn plots ever.

Still doesn't work. The FMV doesn't have sound and neither does that fancy Square logo in the beginning. Is there any speech during the FMVs? Would I be missing a lot if I played on?

Thanks for the mounting help, I'll go search for the progs. In the the sound menu, the 1st and 3rd and enabled while the 2nd and 4th aren't. (thanks again for the Shareaza tip btw, it rocks).

Sup 1s: I downloaded and burned Xenogears and am running it on Epsxe. The prob is that during the intro FMV there is abosolutely no sound. I skipped it and what came after did have sound and the graphics looked fine. Is this a problem or does the FMV really have no sound? Do the FMVs in the game have spoken speech (there are no subtitles)? 2nd: I hear ppl mounting images so as not to play from CD, how do I do this? Can I make an image with Nero or do I need another prog? - Thanks

Sup, I have never tried any handheld emulators and was just wondering how good they work, wondering about Neo Geo Pocket Color and Gameboy Advance in particular. If its good then what are currently the best emulators for them? - Thanks

Which files do I download? I downloaded: 'mame095b.zip' and 'mame095b_i686.zip' but they give me an error when I run them. Something about 'you should launch it from a command prompt'.
