  1. No worries. The game wroks fine now. Even the sound.
  2. Well thx. (you didn't do much anyway) I got the game and it works great. Just the sound that bugs to much....
  3. I went there, signed in and never found any DAT file.........
  4. Can someone tell me where I can find the right Kawaks loader that will play mslug5nd?
  5. Oh well. I got smasho 5 workin on Kawaks. Took some time
  6. Gens. It emulates perfectly and has Sega32x and Mega CD options.
  7. This is exactly what I'm talking about. The CRC column shows the CRC of each file in the archive. Now compare those numbers to the ones in the DAT file I posted. It would be even more helpful if you could post a screenshot of the archive. (The WinZip window and all.) All right. I know what the prob is...the numbers from the DAT file (mine is named asr) from the ssv_p1.rom don't correspond with the ones in the ssv_p1.rom file. So how do I change the ones in the CRCs? (the right numbers in the DAt file are 8A86C728). The emulators says it can't find those exact numbers. (the only diffrence is that the A isn't capital when the emulator shows it) Whether the letters are capitals or not shouldn't be a problem. Hmm... The CRCs should just match. So HOW do I make the ssv_p1.rom file number match with the one in the DAT file??? 1. Open up the DAT file with NotePad or some other text editor. 2. Open the SSV archive and look at the CRCs of the rom files 3. Change the DAT file so that the 8-digit numbers (CRC values) match the ones found in the CRC column in WinZip. I.e. The CRC for ssv_p1.rom is 8A86C728. So, open the DAT file and look at the CRC value of ssv_p1.rom there. If the numbers aren't the same, change it. Check every file. (P, S, M, Cs and Vs) The numbers in the DAT file are good. It's the rom that has the wrong number (661afbix instead of having 8A86C728). (The ssv_p1.rom in the rom SSV.ZIP dosen't have the right number the emulator shows. THE DAT file does) So what i'm askin is how do I change the CRCs in SSV.ZIP and not the CRCs in the DAT File since they are correct.

  9. Yeah, the music isn't all that good, but at least the M1 fixed the sound. Indeed!!!! Wait until my friends here about this.

  11. That's right. You have to check the little CRC box in the Columns group for the CRCs to show up. I clicked on it but I don't know where they should show up. I wen't on Winzip classics and there were not CRCs, just the plain old rom files of ssv. The only diffrent thing about those files is that now they are in Note pad format. Does that mean anythin?? When I'm on winzip classics, there is a column on the left named CRC, it shows a few numbers for each file.
  12. Hey Agozer, the game now works perfectly!!! The sound is great!!! THX!! The music in the game isn't that good, I only liked the forest stage music.
  13. When you open the WinZip window, you should see a row named CRC... If not, goto Configuration and check the CRC box there. Now you should see the CRCs of the files inside the ZIP. Now, open up your SSV DAT with Notepad and maybe you'll see something like this: (This may not be entirely accurate) %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% System: NEO RomName: samsho5 Game: Samurai Shodown 5 (Epic Center Romset) [Program] ssv_p1.rom,0,800000,8A86C728,0 [Text] ssv_s1.rom,0,20000,33227D62,0 [Z80] ssv_m1.rom,0,20000,18114FB1,0 [samples] ssv_v1.rom,0,400000,6849136C,0 ssv_v2.rom,400000,400000,222E1774,0 ssv_v3.rom,800000,400000,CD9E7ADC,0 ssv_v4.rom,C00000,400000,8B305CAC,0 [Graphics] ssv_c1.rom,0,800000,4E7BDEA1,0 ssv_c2.rom,1,800000,7B444985,0 ssv_c3.rom,1000000,800000,8C709A9B,0 ssv_c4.rom,1000001,800000,CFD53F5C,0 ssv_c5.rom,2000000,800000,C026D318,0 ssv_c6.rom,2000001,800000,B3D9D204,0 ssv_c7.rom,3000000,800000,FE03A025,0 ssv_c8.rom,3000001,800000,89DB2D34,0 [system] CartridgeID: 270 GfxCrypt: 0 GfxKey: 0 ButLayout: 9 Fix: 0 %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% The 8 or so numbers before the last ',0' are the CRCs of each file recognized by the DAT. They have to match the roms' CRCs. Paste the contents of your SSV DAT if you're confused... There should be a folder in Kawaks that contain the DATs for different games... Um...ok....well I went on confugaritions and there's nuthin special there besides a a few options in the Columns.
  14. Unzip the M1 rom and replace the existing M1 rom inside Svcplus.zip with it. Aight. I'm on it.
  15. You did? Great. So where do i put it?
  16. Well. I have the emulator and the right rom. It still dosen't work. I mean when I open winkawaks loader, ssv is in the game list. I try rescaning all my games but ssv dosen't appear in my "Available" Game list. I try loading it but nuthin happens. Here's exactly what's in the ssv.zip file ssv_v1.rom ssv_v2.rom ssv_v3.rom ssv_v4.rom ssv_c1.rom ssv_c2.rom ssv_c3.rom ssv_c4.rom ssv_c5.rom ssv_c6.rom ssv_c7.rom ssv_c8.rom ssv_m1.rom ssv_p1.rom ssv_s1.rom So yeah, they are all here in the zip file. That means I have the right rom. So how come it says" Can't find ssv_p1.rom" when that file is in the zip file? All those data files are in the rom.
  17. What? M1? What the hell is that? Anyways...c'mon you said you could email it to me. What's the deal...?
  18. Well I'm going to download winkawaks 1.46 hack (it has the loader in it) later. I'l see what it does. I think it can run ssv. (Can't wait!!)
