  1. Azureus just flocked up one day for me, it wouldn't get passed the loading screen when reaching uPnP....

For me Az had mediocre speeds most of the time...

Then I turned to BitComet, works perfect

    What was the problem NeoMaster?

Oh i fixed the problem. I couldn't resume my downloads properly because I didn't designate the save location to the proper folder. Silly me. :P

  2. Meh. give me a dreamcast 2 anyday

I also want that, but sadly, its not going to happen anytime soon.

ha and who can we blame for that mister sony lover. flock sony they killed the dreamcast and thats why i moved on to the xbox and ngc.

Um, yes it does. Check sales figures and numbers of total systems owned worldwide.

sales figures dont mean crap.. its a bunch of hype bullcrap. They probably have such good sales cause they gota buy another one after there current one breaks. look at the sales figures who has the leads in games? ea everything they flockin make sucks but look at all the money they are makin.

I'm sureee sales figures don't mean anything. Like, who care how much market share you own and how popular software sales are on a system?

And it doesn't matter how many ps2 systems were rebought, fact is sony has the largest install base, that's why more developers choose to produce games for the system.

It wasn't Sony's fault that dreamcast went under, Sega rushed the system and wasn't prepared for the ps2 and thus lost support because the dreamcast lacked power and used a crappier format for discs.

  3. Castlevania LoI is my the best Castlevania ever IMO. I'm understand nostalgia and all that but most of the time when people say the original games are better than the newer ones, i want to smack somebody real hard.

I don't care what you say, SotN is no way anywhere near as good as LoI. Konami masterfully brought this 2D franchise into the 3D world mimicking the fun gameplay of the 2D game and added amazing graphics with it. Also, the music is top notch and the English voice actors in the game rival the talents of the Japanese actors...very rare in videogames.

  4. Since the past week odd occurences have been happening with my internet connection. One minute working, the next its not. It started about 2 days ago as I launched Azureus, my connect then went offline. Thinking it was just a problem with my provider, i ignored it. Then when it came back online the next day my brother was using the cable internet on his computer (our computers are networked) everything worked fine. Realizing my opportunity to get some downloading done I turned launched the program and in about 10 minutes my connection was off, more seriously now. It took 2 full days for the connection to get online and once it did I turned on the program and what did you know! It went offline. I just uninstalled the program and now my cable seems to be working.

Conspiracy? Is the my cable company temporily disconnecting me when I launch this program? Or is it some kind of glitch? Anyone have any simliar problems?

  5. Man Holds Up Sex Shop - [Oddly Enough]

Police are searching for a pistol-wielding robber who stole female leather bondage gear and an inflatable sex doll from an erotica store in Milan Wednesday.

The clerk at the "Night Shop" speculated that the kinky crook might have been unsatisfied with the payout of his hold-up, which only yielded him about 60 euros ($78).

"There was just a little cash," the clerk, who declined to be named, said. "Then he took some stuff...an inflatable doll and a leather outfit for a woman."

Thanks for the article Jay Elwood.

Pentagon's ruthlessly gay weapon - [Oddly Enough]

US military chiefs have considered, at one point, developing an 'aphrodisiac' chemical weapon that would make enemy troops sexually irresistible to each other. The Sunshine Project, which exposes research into chemical and biological weapons, revealed the plans, according to New Scientist.

Provoking widespread homosexual behaviour among troops would cause a "distasteful but completely non-lethal" blow to morale, the proposal says.

Other ideas included chemical weapons that attract swarms of enraged wasps or angry rats to troop positions, making them uninhabitable. Another was to develop a chemical that caused 'severe and lasting halitosis', to identify guerrillas trying to blend in with civilians. There was also an idea to make troops' skin unbearably sensitive to sunlight.

The proposals, from the US Air Force Wright Laboratory in Dayton, Ohio, apparently date from 1994. The lab sought Pentagon funding for research into what it called "harassing, annoying and 'bad guy'-identifying chemicals".

Sunshine Project spokesman said it was not known if the proposed six-year research plan was pursued.
