  1. We have TV shows made here that DON'T suck? For really? Trailer Park Boys isn't too bad, but anything else I've seen SUCKS. Kids in the hall is horrible...wtf
  2. 1066 is 533x2...dual channel dude, where it should be. 400mhz is probably just a default "safe" setting, most bios' come set to those safe settings, and you need to set things where they should be. It's just so you don't wind up with your system not booting because of something finicky. For instance an older system I have, won't run with the DDR400 at 400...it crashes like a SOB. It's not the RAM, been tested in another system, but that board may not like THAT RAM. Safe setting would clock it at 266 or 333. I run it at 333, and it's fine.
  3. Weird PD had FIVE torrents up yesterday, everything else was gone. Seems to be back now...
  4. I can't for the life of me find a rollback set! Dead torrents etc Any suggestions?
  5. Sapphire makes their own cards AND the ATi(AMD) cards btw, so you're not getting anything special paying for an ATi branded card. HOWEVER, Sapphire's customer service and handling of warranties, is CRAP. I got nowhere over 3 months trying to get an X1650 Pro replaced, with most of my emails not being replied to and them wanting me to pay for return shipping AND a fee! That alone will keep me from buying their products again.
  6. That sucks, I hate when something is advertised as supporting hardware....but the bios it's loaded with doesn't. Where did you buy it from?
  7. No beeps from my experience, are indicative of hardware that isn't quit seated properly...usually RAM. The board picks it up as being present, but it doesn't function how it should. That often shows with that HD activity light staying solid...no beeps and nothing on screen. System pretty much hangs before the bios even fully loads. Try one stick of RAM at a time, make sure it's in there solid. Your PSU should be set to 115v setting btw
  8. Some rundown on EXACTLY what happens when you turn the power on would be of great help. # of beeps (No beep at all can be a problem just as much as multiple beeps) Does hard drive activity light stay solid? (On a properly working system, it should light up and go right off until it's actually in use) Anything else noticeable... Please post hardware specs too (Don't need to know about drives) including the power supply and it's ratings.
  9. If there is onboard video, it will by default be the only thing you will get video from until you change the bios settings.
  10. I not only just let it out, I often tend to use it as a weapon...more often than not, a silent one.
  11. I don't ride dirt anymore, but if cost is an issue you're surely going to find a 2 stroke bike cheaper than any 4 stroke. As long as you take care of it and rebuild the top end regularly enough, reliability and such are not really an issue...they're also more powerful, so you'd get almost as much "Oomph" out of a 2 stroke 125 as you would a 4 stroke 250.
  12. Wrong! It's only "mint" simply because it's Warhammer, if it were anything else it would be revered as SUCK all around.
  13. And it's THQ, who hasn't put out a game that lives up to expectations in what, 10+ years? UHHHHH WAR HAMMER 40K!!!!! My point exactly...if it was developed by THQ, but again it wasn't it was only published by them. That game sucked ass, and I say that having given it more than one chance and I like Warhammer...SUCKED...ASS
  14. When did I ever say I was sane? My post was intended as a general remark, not a direct response to you even though I quoted. Anyway, I prefer people who are at least a little insane. Be too sane, and you start being boring. Please, anyone that claims to be "Normal" needs put in a straight jacket. If you're not at least a little fucked up, there's something wrong with you...
  15. THQ didn't dev Stalker, they only published it. Maybe theres a chance too with this, since 4A Games is dev and not in house THQ...never heard of 4A Games mind you. Everything in-house THQ seems to suck, REALLY bad.
  16. And it's THQ, who hasn't put out a game that lives up to expectations in what, 10+ years?
  17. Just thought I'd note...the cab, NOT a TMNT/Simpsons. They use the same cabinet, and I own a dedicated TMNT, the coin mechs are twin dual slots with separate chutes/buckets. Not to mention the CP sits too far out off the cab itself. It's also DEFINITELY not a Gauntlet, not even close, Gauntlet cabs are more "laid back" in shape towards the rear and wider. Looks like your run of the mill Dedicated Golden Tee Classic to me, standard cab...just like any Dynamo you'll find (ie; There's nothing "dedicated" about a Dynamo)
  18. I too enjoy talking to myself...I mean we do. oO You're asking, and appear to be at the least...on the fence. I say NO based on that.
  19. I've considered this, but this is my first house and I fully intend to sell when (before) my 5 year term comes up (June 2013), I don't really think I should bother with the hassle, when I'm going to sell within a 3.5 year timeframe anyway. Could be considered a selling point I suppose...still haven't ruled it out entirely.
  20. Actually no, a D-Sub port is like $0.25, and I actually still have 3 sets on hand right now. I'd dremel a spot for it in the shell right above the AV port and tap directly into the circuit, might cost me another $0.10 in wire and I like tinkering. Plus no waiting for shipping from China and I can use any VGA cable I have on hand. Damn you, now you've got me wanting to actually do this. http://www.gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=av:dreamcastav
  21. I have an S-Video cable for the N64, it still looks much cleaner on the SDTV. Same for the Dreamcast, I don't really play it enough any more to be bothered with a VGA cable/box for it either. If I go that route, I'd just make my own cable anyway...the Dreamcast outputs VGA, not the box/cable so why pay some inflated price when I can do it myself for very little?
  22. When it comes to networking, I can't really help beyond common knowledge. I have one of THE weirdest network setups you'll ever come across, but from a security standpoint while retaining useability...if you could wrap your head around it, it makes so much sense. WiFi is a PITA really, and G although the fastest option outside of N (Which is still too costly for home use IMO) it's interfered with easily as cordless phones and other crap reside in that band. Put your router up as high as you can and picture a donut around the antenna(s)...that donut is your signal spectrum so angle the donut optimally. I have 2 G routers in bridge mode here that join two levels of my house together and the only thing that connects wirelessly to them are themselves and my laptop. Everything else is wired to them. One is under my bed lol, the other on my wall behind my entertainment center. The antennas are pointed right at eachother on that donut azimuth and the signal strength is great given I know my floor causes interference. And the obligatory...try to stay 2 or more channels away from what other routers in your area are using. If you don't know how to find that out, just try using a channel for a bit and see how it fares versus using another.
