    3 more MAME releases!

    By Robert,
    SDLMAME 0.107_3

_2 was broken for x86 on Linux and Mac (PPC Mac, x86-64 Linux, and x86 Win32 were fine) so here’s the latest: SDLMAME 0.107_3 [14.2 MB] and the patch from _2 [17 KB]. NOTE: you MUST “make clean” before applying the patch or the resullts will be unpredictable.

    * Fixed: the x86-64 makefile fix in _2 broke normal x86 on Linux and Mac (Win32 was not affected)

    * Fixed: OpenGL was rendering everything one pixel up and to the left of its proper position. Thanks to Aaron Giles for noticing I’d copy/pasted a little too much of his D3D code

    * Added some notes to the documentation pointing people to docs/windows.txt for the “baseline” set of options supported by SDLMAME

PSPVBA: GameBoy Advance Emulator for PSP v1.2.2

    July 29th, 2006, 12:22 Posted By: zx-81

    Hi All,

Here is a new version of PSPVBA the GameBoy Advance Emulator for PSP.

After days of intensive work on this emulator, i have to say that i've tried many things,

and unfortunatelly none give better speed results.

It seems that i've reached the limit of what i can do on this emulator (from speed point of view).

    * This version doesn't work for +2.0 FW ! *

    What's new in version 1.2.2 :

    - Rewrite some part of the Gfx code (up to 5% faster)

    - Bug fix and code cleaning

    SwanAdvance v0.1 released

    SwanAdvance V0.1 28 July 2006

Surprise! A WonderSwan Color emulator for the GBA, it's actually not that much to cheer about as it's dead slow, but it works as far as playing Final Fantasy. To speed it up I need to rewrite the cpu core and even that will probably just make it slightly faster, so it looks like it's a dead end but I did give it a try.
