Agozer Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Most neogeo games work, just not those ones correctly.Have you talked with james about this, or should I just assume that your romsets are borked?
Fatal Rose Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 Superman helped me out, everything is ok now.
Fatal Rose Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 I'm not sure if you're asking what fighters you're missing or what beat-em-ups you're missing. Since there are a gajillion beat-em-ups, I'll just point out a couple decent fighters.: Asura Blade (very, very pretty)Rabbit (not perfectly emulated, but fun enough.)Astra Super Stars (isn't emulated well yet, but it will be) Also, I know that MAME doesn't really *need* to overlap perfectly with the Neo, but any list of fighting games needs to mention Waku Waku 7. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I mean all fighters. Not just versus, so that includs walk along fighters too.
Daeval Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 From the top of my head (and the NRx list): Tekken 2, Primal Rage, the Dungeons and Dragons beat-em-ups, Golden Axe 2, Kabuki Klash, Alien vs. Predator, Breakers and Breakers Revenge, Galaxy Fight, Karnov's Revenge, most of the Samurai Showdowns, Mutation Nation, all the World Heroes, Spider-Man (the old school one w/ black cat).

It's nice that someone like you is so devoted to MAME; no wonder GC made you a mod in the MAME section.
Fatal Rose Posted October 31, 2004 Author Posted October 31, 2004 Come on guys hook it up with some more suggestions.
GreatChicken Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 1. Violent Storm, an offbeat improvement of Final Fight and its premise, featuring far deeper gameplay. 2. Armored Warriors, mecha beat-em-up with an interesting modular weapons system. 3. Shadow Force, a little awkward but has this unique 'take over your enemy' system. Enemies happen to have special moves of their own too.
