Windows Xp firewall

A better idea would be to completely kill the SP2 Security Center, and use some 3rd party applications. I did, that Security Center is a pain in the @$$ and it sucks anyway.

Microsoft can make people think they're making XP more secure all they want, but the fact of the matter is, it's still the same old insecure WINDOWS it was before, infact (according to some places) the "additions" and "ehancements" in SP2 make things worse, not better, for security.

Go into your Group Policies by typing gpedit.msc into RUN on your taskbar (You won't have this in XP Home) and disable it from there (You'll need to look around, I forget what it's under).

Or you can disable it under the Services listings.
