hmmm, i was wondering if someone here could tell me where i can get a ps2 emulator? i hope this is allowed tho.. jus delete if is not.. but msg me privately tho.. i have a dvd player.. and i wish to play ps2 games..

You won't do jack squat with a PS2 emulator unless you like ~4fps emulation speed. Sad but true. You'd need a supercomputer to emulate any next-gen console at full speed.

 

However, if you really want to give it a shot, head to http://www.zophar.net.

hey, so do we download ps2 roms, den use the emulator? or do we use the ps2 cds..?

PS2 games are not roms, they are CD images. You need to use discs or then mount a PS2 DVD/CD image with Daemon Tools. You also better have a DVD drive if you want to run DVDs.

sorry but i neeed more help.. i cant open the dvd.. it opens the DATA, MODULES, MOVIES, SD.... but i still cant open game!! Im using pcsx2 for the emulatore.. can someone pls tell me whats wrong? thanks!

Well, have you downloaded sound, video and DVD-ROM plugins for the emulator?

pluggins? hmmm? thats something new to me.. take for example.. pscx2, how many files am i suppose to download? i see a pscx2, and a pscx2source.. is there supposed to be more?

hey uhh, im getting one of those GeForce6800 Ultras soon, ya think i could emu something with that? or is it just software issues (im way behind on next gen emulation because i just getthe games for pretty much nothing at work hehe)

You can emu pretty much anything at full speed with that (provided that you've got the MHz and RAM too)... except next-gen systems.

 

The only exception to this is one GC emulator and Bust-A-Move 3000.
