Quake 2!

Well, i noticed that Quake 2 and the update patch had been posted in one handy file at suprnova, and i just had to relive the memories, It comes with an NRG file (Nero CD Image) and a Self extracting Zip file that will update you to the newest version

 

Man am i lovin it, i think im enjoying it more than im enjoying Quake 3 dare i say it!

 

if anyone has it/wants to go grab it ill be happy to play you on Gamespy or something, or if ya wanna do 1 on 1 we can hook that up too i think.

 

Its old enough where it wont lag on dialup too Very nice game, its old, but that doesnt keep it from owning.

Quake 1 & 2 were always better than Quake 3.

Quake 2's mods were amazing

 

Quake 1 was , uh well, Quake 1.

but you have to admit Quake 1 is still alot more active than Q2 up to this date. Q1 maps have doubled productions compared to Q2 and engine developments are already established. and for the record, i play Q2 (and mods) more than i ever did with Q1.

 

as for the games themselves, i like them all. Q1 is gothic, Q2 is space military and Q3 is tournament type.

 

P.S. you people have to try Dawn of Darkness for Q2. truly a classic.

Quake 1 was , uh well, Quake 1.

Quake 1 TF was teh 0wn! I played that game so much it was sickening. Back when games were pretty fast on dial up...
