Give me The Last Guardian and the Final Fantasy VII Remake right now. Sony went to town and dominated the entire show.

 

I didnt even watch the sony show, not intrested.

Ff7 remake? Why bother even buying it, the cutscenes and gameplay will be on youtube an hour after it comes out.

But here's the thing, I like playing games and experiencing them myself, not watching cutscenes and Let's Plays on YouTube

But heres the thing...I already played it over a decade ago, I know what happens so why would i waste another 25 hours leveling up pointless materia

So did I. Everybody that played FFVII knows what happens, why would that make the game less interesting now? Besides, I never leveled up pointless materia

FF7 was so overrated to me, even back in the 90's. Wish they'd remake 6 instead ... you know, make General Leo save-able; figure out GoGo's identity ... Shadow's dreams leading to something.

The square enix company has been milking the part 2's of a few classic games but I would play a new story of ff6 to see the loose plot lines tied.

^ Agreed. Of all the FF's to receive multiple sequels/spinoffs they pick 10? Leather board shorts and surfing? ... wish they'd do a proper FF Tactics sequel, too.

The closest you'll get to a FF tactics sequel is the versions on GBA and 3? DS(Jap).

 

The GBA one I cant remember the name of was like lion something is ok but the difficulty goes through the roof after your first level up.

 

After thinking about it for a minute I think the GBA one was called FF Tactics Advance: Something something....

This was my legitimite experience of Final fantasy 7 on the PSone.

 

1. Got it.

2. Loved it.

3. Leveled up.

4. Did EVERYTHING.

5. Time to put in disc 3.

6. Dragon fight.

7. Not enough levels.

8. Try to go back.

9. Cant go back.

10. The end.

I missed this, but I will say...Shenmue sucks donkey nuts. I tried getting into the games, it's worse than grinding an MMO.

I was mental for the original shenmue, I adored that game when it came out over here.

I remember a guy I worked on a job for was a 56k dial up beast, he downloaded virtua tennis on it!

At the time you could download shenume but it was not translated to English or voiced, so if you got it you had to put up with the jap/chinese subs.

Anyway I got it on the day of release, remember walking round that little town and the sun used to go down and ho home for sleep.

That cat in the cemetery? I used to go to the shop for milk for it, but my second time round I wouldnt give it any milk.

 

When the game ended and you had to go to Japan I was pissed off, shenume 2 was just as good IMO but I did lose interest eventually - one of the QTE when you are running through the streets used to always screw up on me no matter how many times I used to try and get it right.

 

Dam I miss the snes/64/dreamcast era of gaming.
