Top Emulation Sites of 2011 (Entering 2012)?

Seems like many more emulation sites have died in the past few years. EmuHQ, EmuHolic, and many more with almost no update in years, or zero activity. Since I've been on and off from the scene and haven't been following solely emulation sites, which ones are currently at the top?

Seems like Emulator-Zone still holds first place, which is quite amazing, as many of us here are quite unfamiliar with any of their staff. They have been around for a few years longer than us and have managed to store one of the best emulator archives on the internet (if not, the best). They hold all the records on Google and represent a site that has been successful without being a part of NGEmu, Emulation64, or any other of the top sites known to many of us. EmuParadise (a rom site) is another one.

What sites would you say are currently the top emulation sites (including rom sites, which can be mentioned by name), in terms of activity by both staff and users?

A keyword-rich domain and stable links for pages is pretty much all there is to it. The cafeine and panda updates have clearly been taking their toll,

psx-scene (corporate-owned now, fleed like the plague)

ps3news (not so rosy history)

ps3hax

dashhacks group (corporate-owned now)

gen group

maxconsole

Among others.

All these sites you listed are not considered sites with a main basis of emulation. Seems like the general consensus for these listed are for hacking/modding (oh yeah, and homebrew) of game consoles. As for Emulator-Zone, what do you mean by caffeine and panda updates?
