I still do not have internet access in my room, I now have TWO VF5 arcade sticks for my 360!

I highly suggest anyone who plans on playing fighitng games in the 360 to get an arcade stick, makes a HUGE difference.

Still too cheap for the sticks, come to think of it. Probably won't change until I get a job (which I might have soon, touch wood ). Fighting games aren't gonna be my focus on the 360 anyway.. I might as well just shell out for one of those XFPS converters and use my PS2 sticks anyway.

those things are like 100 bucks. you can get the vf5 stick for 50 and not worry about the chance of input lag.

$50? I can't get them domestically. Play-Asia's my point of reference for imports... they will charge me $80USD for the stick, and a further $15-20 for shipping depending on delivery method.

No kidding. And you don't even know what internet speeds are like down here- 9000kb/s down is like a fantasy for me and we have download quotas per month too. It really sucks to be us.

 

Thanks for the heads up on those sticks though.. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a local one 2nd hand or something.

if you don't like the square gate long throw of the stick you can switch out the gate. I am not a fan of the square gate or the ball top so I am about to do this mod as soon as my parts come in. I was thinking about doing the buttons but it looks like a big pain in the rear.

Thanks for the links Inky. Anyone whoever complained about controls in a fighting game on the 360 really needs to get an arcade stick. I can't even explain how much it had done for VF5.
