ken_cinder Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 You could try it, but I'm pretty sure the XP boot disks don't contain necessary programs for partitioning/formatting.Download a Win98 SE Boot Disk, that will have FDISK and FORMAT for sure. Simply create your partition(s) and DON'T format them if you want NTFS (Win98 only supports FAT32, so you'll have to use the XP install CD for NTFS)
Devia Eleven Posted December 5, 2007 Author Posted December 5, 2007 Wow.... The entire problem the whole time, is that I didn't boot the disc from startup. I booted the disk from startup, it fully formatted my computer, amd I have a fresh copy and now I am satisfied. I appreciate all of the help.
