RevonZZ Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 (edited) I had another error with nullDC, it hangs at the main menu. I have a freakin' radeon 1300x series, but the FPS drops to 0! EVERY SINGLE FU**ING TIME! When I found this, confugured it (with the help of the chankast manual) I literally was clapping When this happened, I was shocked I want to kill everyone because THIS was the game that made me fall in love with the series. This is a cool game But the fact that it doesnt work taints it Edited June 1, 2007 by RevonZZ
Agozer Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Emulation has very little to do with your graphics card.
RevonZZ Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Emulation has very little to do with your graphics card. OK, but it still hangs Please help me
Agozer Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 There could be ten reasons why it hangs. It could be a faulty image (very likely). It could be your graphics card drivers. it could be general incompatibilities between your system and the emulators, who knows. The point is that Sonic Adventure (either the first or its sequel; the sequel moreso) has problems across all DC emulators. For some, it might run fairly well. For others, like you, there are all kinds of problems.

LoRd_SnOw Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 (edited) Most likely you have a faulty image. Also just to note* in Sonic Adventure 2 all Geforce cards don't work very well in game. you will notice the tecture/polygons all over the place. My suggestion would be to try a radeon Card of your choosing. if you don't have one or can't simply afford one, you are out of luck. Although i haven't checked if this samething happens on nulldc. RevonZZ Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I already have a radeon 1300 X, and also, anyone have a place where I can download a new image?

I have both a Geforce 4 MX and a Radeon X1400, it works great with my radeon, not sure about older models. i assumed it would work with older models, i suggest patching it, if possible. I have a GeForce FX 5500 with 512 DDR. The game plays flawless for me. No texture/polygon issues at all anywhere in the game. Thus far I haven't noticed any graphical problems. Granted I haven't played to much of it, but what I've seen so far has been fine.
