I expect consumers will wait until a winner emerges - just like what happened in the days of VHS vs Beta.

Here comes another format Holographic disks which will kill blu-ray and hd-dvd if conusmers flock to it. Atm its still be developed and the price will take awhile to be accepted.

 

Well they have 300GB disks atm working towards to 1.6 TB
