Either click on the Public Hubs button (the first one and double click a hub on the list to correct to that hub.

Alternatively, ifyou already know a hub address that you would like to connect to, press CTRL+Q and type the address there. This is called quick connecting.

Yo can also create a list of your favorite hubs by adding them to the favorite hubs list (Yellow Star). Some hubs might require you to set a specific description or something else, to even get into the hub, so adding a hub to Favorites makes that easier as well.

Make sure you set your nickname and shared folders in the preferences before connecting to any hubs though.

One more thing: Once you get into a hub and try to search for files, but nothing comes up, set your connection settings to Passive in Preferences and reconnect to the hub.

Also check out hublist.org helps with the public hub url stuff. Keep in mind if the name has a brick wall looking icon next to it in the user list you can't connect to that person (probably because both of you are active or something)
